Way back in the before times we started our little podcast and after a few months we thought it would be nice to start inviting guests who were good at the ol DJing thing. Timo was our first one and we're super happy to have him back in '23 for pt.2 of him doing his thang.

Keeping herself busy with an already impressive portfolio of activities within the music scene, spending this year working closely with much loved Secretsundaze, residencies with Balamii and Spiritland, as well as bracing the decks of the cities insitutional party spots such as Fabric, Lion & Lamb and The Cause. Meg Paine's mix for us demonstrates a masterful skill to develop a set with fluidity, seemlessly evolving party tune energy whilst maintaining an atmosphere of old school warehouse bliss. Co-founded by Chris I’Anson, Adam Pits & Lisene, On Rotation has become home to a spectrum of forward thinking productions which encapsulate a range of electronic genres. 

Taking inspiration from the outer-cosmic, the inner-self and the digi-natural, the graphic tee takes design cues from the label’s releases while also being heavily influenced by the trio's intoxicating mixing styles.
 
Using fluorescent and metallic inks the graphic tee pops on the dance floor while the three part mix series takes us on a downtempo voyage through each co-founder’s slowed down selections.

After a brief hiatus we are back with CKFM edition 101 & it is worth the wait. 

A definite kindred spirit to us here at Craigie Knowes, he's been doing it better & longer than most. We met in person for the first time earlier on in the year, ate a large amount of Italian food & chatted about music for a few hours before going to support our friends who were playing at Subculture. An unplanned but very much welcomed first meeting.

Raised on a diet of Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, Punk and Reggae, turntables were a natural progression for this Bristol born, Welsh rooted DJ and Producer Owain K (Owain Kimber). After discovering the sounds of bootleg mixtapes and Techno as a youngster in the 90s, he's never been one for sitting still. 

Owain has kindly provided the tracklist for those of you so inclined, we're guessing most of you will be with the quality of the mix.
