The keys are always by the door
ripe and ready for the taking
in the movie that you're making up.

I won't rest assured
with science's sword
we connect the highs and ecstasies
back to the source.

In the ocean's epilogue
there's a passage yet unwritten
waiting for the words to gather

A soldier so calls in a favor
shaky but unwavering in resolve.
