Common Ties produces a synthesized style of music sure to both entice and surprise any pre-determined palate.

Lineup at present includes Michaelee Mahan -on bass, Ableton Live, and vocals; Dylan Brackett -on keys; Drew Dugan -on drums & percussion; and Michael Salka -on guitar, bass, and vocals. 

Influences range from the classic sounds of the Doors, the Pixies, the Clash, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the Talking Heads, to the radically new sounds of EOTO, Radiohead, Lotus, STS9, TV On The Radio, and the Flaming Lips. The experimentation essential to Common Ties makes for an ever-entertaining and dynamic live show, perfectly suited to dancing, ‘chilling’, or just generally ‘getting your freak on’.
