Ordia was first exposed to electronic music in the early 90s and fell in love with dance music before really understanding what dance music was. Jam & Spoon, Orbital and Underworld were very early and very significant influences over his musical journey.
Ordia has featured on numerous radio shows over the years, predominately on underground UK stations, but also local Melbourne radio (Street FM) and even co-hosting on Kiss FM in the late 90s.
While his musical taste spans many sub-genres, Techno has always been his core passion and of late has dominated his musical preference. His sets are often filled with driving, melodic, hypnotic and heavy synth basslines, yet uplifting and entrancing. You won’t find pretension or ego here, only a genuine passion for bringing you the best music possible.

“Common Tribe is a collaborative duo project formed by high school friends Peter and David from Melbourne. With a strong passion for underground electronic music, especially Techno, they joined forces 4 years ago to express their unique interpretation of the genre. Common Tribe quickly gained recognition in the European Techno scene, signing several recording contracts with reputable labels such as GRYPHON, Eclipse Recordings and Mercurial Tones, to name a few.

His tracks feature meticulous attention to detail, combining intense rhythms, hypnotic melodies and captivating soundscapes. One of his most recent EPs, “Forgotten”, released on X&Y Records, features two tracks and includes a remix by renowned Australian Progressive Techno producer Alegra. The EP received a stellar response, particularly the remix, which debuted on Esoteric Festival's Bush Techno stage.
