ABOUT THE SONG: Danny and I are constantly buying gear. I bought this tiny 5w Kay amp off Ebay, and to my surprise the amp had this massive crunchy guitar sound. So we started writing some songs that tried to tap into our nostalgic middle school pop punk days. We matched it up with the Alesis HR-16, the New Order drum sound. I sorta feel like this song took us in a new direction from 'Golden Year,' still fun but does the summery feel in a new way.

the idea for this record came to Alexander while he was on an 11 day silent meditation retreat. the songs are about freedom from self and freedom from the illusion that we're separate entities. freedom from being so lost in thought that we hurt ourselves and those around us.
