DJ Kfeelz's tastes are influenced by her eclectic upbringing in Brooklyn, NY.  As a member of the women and non-binary person of color DJ collective Miss/chief and a Level Party 2023 resident, she plays all over the city, carrying a steady energy of optimism in all her sets.  As a solo artist, she displays an ear for soothing sounds on her Lot Radio show, Swimming. Her DJ sets veer from lush downtempo to hands-in-the-air house moments and surprise Italo bangers. 

Whether it is moving her feet on the dance floor or digging for tunes, she is thankful to continue to be moved by the magic of music. Her intent is to bring joy to the dance floor and share in the love of music with others ✨

"I have been listening to a lot of records at home lately as well as digging for new tunes when I have free time. This mix weaves together records I’ve bought in Canada and NYC as well as records that have been given to me. I feel very lucky and grateful to derive immense joy from music; my only goal is to share that stoke with others."

“A few weeks ago I went to a friend's party thrown in the basement of a Crown Heights comic book shop. The windows were blacked out, the DJs went very deep in all directions of time and space, and the drugs were just right. I danced with my body and w new & old friends and it swelled my heart through the sunrise! So I put together some of the deeper tunes I've collected over winter to make a love letter to that party. It contains a lot of room for deep listening while building up just a touch of intensity. I hope you enjoy the interplay of textures between all of these incredible tracks as much as I enjoyed puzzlng them together. Please consider buying them from the artists to play for your own self!
