Making a return to Libero, Mannheim-based artist Martin OCCO is joined by Bucharest’s own Brad Brunner, as they team up on the electrifying ‘Here We Go’ EP. Serving up two highly-charged perpetual groovers, the release is bursting at the seams with trademark Libero style as well as generous lashings of each respective artist’s unique traits.

The title track ‘Here We Go’ is a pacy number. Sporting a stripped-back approach and emphasis on low-frequencies, it’s addictive rolling verve and rumbling sub keeps you moving as it transitions through the gears. A primed dancefloor mood setter, no-frills underground sound with captivating appeal.

Label frontrunner Mike Morrisey puts an impressive spin on things with his driving remix of ‘Here We Go’. Oozing with the label’s definitive ethos throughout, you can expect a robust sub groove and layers of supplementary percussion - capped off with subtle synth stabs and punchy drum programming. Libero Sound to a tee.

Rounding off the release, ‘Get Up’ comes at you with tribal flavour, uptempo rhythm and a vigorous bassline. Rattling percussion and sizzling hats leave little room for a breather between pounding drum patterns and a cadent vocal hook. A track with purpose and gusto, built for the heart of the party and peak time sets.

Martin OCCO, Brad Brunner - Here We Go

The first release in the Rendr vinyl series, A humble moment for the label. Welcoming two highly regarded artists to the imprint who join together to use both their individual signatures and joint abilities to produce two originals that ooze inspiration and soul. Both originals blend warm melodic elements and rhythmic bass lines along with hypnotic leads, all coming together to form the ideal opening for the first release. On the flip side, Peruvian composer Alejandro Cuestas & Argentina’s Kevin Toro take the baton and implement their own touch on the originals to produce some hard hitting yet fundamental grooving records.
