Ivan Fabra is an eclectic Barcelona-based DJ and artist who was first exposed to electronic music during the late 90s where he frequented clubs. He has skillfully mixed his wide music influences and demonstrates his deep love for creating atmospheric pads, groove bass lines and unique cosmic funky-disco sounds with the pure physical energy of club and dance floor sounds in his productions. His sound is defined by powerful drums and driving synths, with a unique touch and a strong ability to blend the past and the future. Sharing a passion for vintage analogue synthesizers.
Best known for his heady mix of nu disco, dreamy balearic, psychedelic house and synth-driven techno along with his ability to read the dance floor has enabled him to work a crowd either warming up with sleazy laid back grooves or ramping things up into peak-time misbehaviour and up into the stratosphere.

Andrew Scott, aka NY*AK, brings some heavy jams for the first release of 2018 on Local Talk with his "Bound EP". We’re treated to four tracks. The last track 'Sandwiches' features long time collaborator Ian Blevins and contains fuzzed and thumping kicks, a muscular bass line to keep things moving, and a couple drops of acid flavours with rhodes chords to smooth things out. Topped off with some soulful vocal chops, this one's a bonafied workout! A stunning low deep groove for any Theo Parrish or Marcellus Pittman fans out there.

City Fly return for their 15th release, backed by serious muscle in the form of NY*AK, and fellow contributors Ian Blevins and Mark Hand, who make up the stomping and spectacular Afghan Jams EP. Starting strong is ‘Return’, with a relentless dub techno energy, graced later by soft vocals and euphoric violin strings making for an epic dancefloor anthem. ‘Slick’, with Mark Hand, veers off into a loose, crackly acid trip. It’s followed by ‘Troia’, rounding off side A with an all-out party of flutes and keys over one infectious ecosystem of drums. Then, on side B, ‘We Both Know’ comes through; NY*AK’s eye-catching, sample-heavy jam with Ian Blevins with an eerie bassline. And the EP concludes with title track ‘Afghan Jam’, featuring Mark Hand - a special groove captured mid-session. Something a house head can easily get lost in.
