This one started somewhere along the cliffs of Italy, at least in Ric’s mind.
He dove into the Sicilian season of The White Lotus and found himself spiralling into the show’s soundtrack. That’s where he stumbled on Mina, the legendary Italian singer. One haunting vocal in particular jumped out, “Un anno d'amore”. It felt like dusk. Like slow-driving past Sicilian cliffs. Like a James Bond scene before it all kicks off.

He isolated the vocal and asked the question every producer loves to wrestle with: what now?

The answer came in the form of another classic: Herbert’s remix of Bonnie & Clyde. That moody, spacious energy. French noir meets slow groove. So Ric built his own version, an Italian love letter layered over a bass line that echoes that same pulse, in another key.

Amore is a cinematic detour. Intimate, romantic, and free to download, because some things are better shared than cleared.

Navas makes his BAU_HAUS debut with 'You Got Me EP', a four-track collection that bridges the energy of modern electronica and indie dance with the spirit of ’90s rave culture. At its heart lies the title track 'You Got Me', a reimagining of a vocal from Liquid Crystal’s 1993 classic.

The rest of the EP expands on that ethos with a series of bold stylistic turns. 'Open Your Mind' flips a nod to Adam Beyer into a breaks reinterpretation. 'Deeper Your Love' dives into hypnotic territory while closing track 'Closer' combines indie dance with a dark vocal.

Ransom Note has always been my favorite music online magazine, and now it's gradually becomes my favorite label.
One release is stronger than another and in general they pleasantly surprise by the variety of their releases involving artists of different musical styles, united by one but the most important detail - beautiful and high-quality music.
For the ninth release of R$N invites none else than Belgium synthesizer virtuoso Placid One, who is known for his work on such labels as Convex Records, Manic Beats Records and Hyperion Audio. 
"C Ballon" EP brings three original mixes, remix from amazing British producer Timothy Clerkin and German  ambient master Niklas Rehme-Schlüter aka Cass. , who took the titule track of EP and turned it into beautiful piece of nostalgia filled of feeling and emotions and consisting of a vibrating bass line, a ragged rhythm and hypnotic synths. Well, worth to listen once and once again.
"C Balloon" will be released on 12" and Digitaly and will be available from 21th July.
