Bonkers (@bonkersrecs) calling their third year as a record label, for the celebration is going to be released a very special six track compilation, for the first time on Vinyl 12”, bringing lots of new astounding artists to the label and also a very different sound to what you might have heard two years back. The music is evolving all the time, so the sound of the label has to evolve too.

 This six track album represents the actual sound of the record label, featuring: Undefined Pattern, Ducati Flux, Ludviq & Technicism, Ricardo Ruben, Hanzo & Yaman and 9 POUND HAMMER.

Ducati Flux (@ducatiflux)AKA Max Ferrer is a Chilean multi instrumentalist, producer, mixing engineer and DJ based in Berlin. Half of the duo Random Atlas and founder of the label ODD Pleasures. From an early age, he has searched in music and sound design for a collision between rock and electronic music, playing in several bands, producing for different projects and soundtrack for movies. He has released his music on labels such as Ombra INTL, Hard Fist, Dogs & Vultures, Belly Dance Services, just to name a few.

Ducati flux's delivers a trippy 100BPM tune 'Inertia', the track explores diverse styles and techniques, driven by a powerful bassline and massive beats evolving around ethereal and melodic synths all the way to the climax where the electric guitars take over creating catchy and intense melodies.

Paisley Dark Records are buzzing to annouce the labels fifth release proper,
Norra Linjen, a haunting primetime techno bomb by Machine Soul, aka Robert
Folkesson. This follows previous releases by Dan Wainwraight, From Beyond,
UFO Club and the 10” vinyl EP from Matt Gunn.

Norra Linjen (Northern Lights) is accompanied by two electrifying remixes. The
first being from Man2.0 (Nein Records) who delivers an old school techno vibe
whislt sounding like the future has arrived early.

The second remix, the aptly named “Rave Remake mix), courtesy of When
Disco Goes Wrong’s head honcho Mindbender, sees chilling synth riffs gliding
effortlessly over bubbling 303 acid lines.

Volume 9 of Last Gas Station's annual 'Late Summer' series. As every year, the various artists compilation offers a variety of exclusive tracks, together with some of their favourite releases over the past 12 months. As per usual, the compilation is available on their Bandcamp page, free of charge, and includes names like Jacques Renault, Juan Ramos, Massimiliano Pagliara and Kapote, to name a few.

We have the pleasure of streaming Younger Than Me and Local Suicide's collaborative contribution. Both duos have been killing it lately with a solid string of releases. With 'Late Sunday Night' they deliver a hard-hitting, acid infused party starter.

'Countdown' it's the first bonus track as 'digital exclusive', an original mix which starts with sounds answering each other like an engine before blast off. A cool baseline appears, the hi-hat set the rhythm, synthetic sounds play along the track, the tensions grows, the bass hit hard. A a halo of mystery envelops the song's cadence, the trance is absolute. Weird synths emerge to complete what could perfectly be the soundtrack of a Hitchcock movie.

PREMIERE: Radial Gaze — Helium Peaks (Psycho Weazel 'Temporal Spatio' Remix) [Belly Dance Services]

The beginning of 2021 sees electronic trailblazers Nothing Is Real (@nothingisrealrecords) showcase the truly global nature of their expansive sound and vision by profiling five Mexican artists on a compilation EP entitled ‘Made in Mexico’. Featuring a diversity of tracks from friends and collaborators Mufti, Montessori, Javier Martinez & Ulises Arrieta, Colossio & Cabizbajo and Tapia, this release demonstrates the deep roots that Nothing Is Real have made within the South American continent, as they put the talents of five swiftly rising Mexican producers on display.

Mufti opens the compilation with “Fields of Passion”, a slow burner that builds on the iconic new wave influences that Nothing Is Real are now known for. Throbbing basslines roll underneath shimmering synths that echo through a cavernous atmosphere, creating a sonic space in which the remainder of the EP flourishes beautifully. Following this up with elegance, Montessori taps the talents of Gael Gael for a collaborative venture, “Avant Garden”. As gentle increases in momentum build to a dramatic climax, the track serves as a prime example of the hypnotic rhythms and emotive melodies that Nothing Is Real are known for. Reaching the mid-point of the compilation, the duo of Javier Martinez & Ulises Arrieta keep the pace high with a six-minute jam that blends circular synth patterns, tribal drum fills and a solid, rolling 4/4 beat, before Colossio & Cabizbajo take a detour into electro with “Rapto”. On this track, the pair create something beautifully spooky out of futuristic FX and creative sonic manipulations that float above a gloriously resonant synth bass. Taking subtle cues from both Vangelis and vaporwave, this one is an impressive demonstration of how far the Nothing Is Real sound can reach. Closing the compilation with “Orbit”, a laudable display of musicality, Tapia treats us to a two-minute instrumental intro before a rapturous beat enters the mix.
