Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal's GREEN imprint has, in just seventeen releases, become a highly regarded source of modern and melodic electronica. Ripperton, Patrice Baumel and Stimming are just some of the names to have graced the label with their unique and wonderfully diverse music. GR18 displays a new musical direction for an artist who has inspired both our label heads since the 1990's. Green is proud to welcome Roland Klinkenberg with Construct #1.

Since the early 90's Roland has explored the farthest reaches of the progressive sound, crafting assonant ambiences with ease. Experimenting with dub delays and with a fresh, non-results driven outlook, the Dutchman's recent studio sessions have found him wandering in new musical directions. Using field recordings of his son Yani, Roland has created two beautiful dub-tinged tracks that have already won the hearts of Joris and Edwin and are now ready to gather your love.

In the last couple of years Dusseldorf producer Maximiljan has made a serious impact with his EPs on labels like Noir, Liebe*Detail and Mobilee. Now he is stepping up to make his Moon Harbour debut. After EP1 in summer 2014, Jacob Korn continues the series with the aptly titled “EP2”, a collection of tracks that underline Jacob’s talent to produce Dance Music with appeal for both the main floors as well as Deep House connoisseurs.

On “Bingoparty” Jacob combines elegiac synths with powerful drumming. The reduced instrumentation and subtle progression will surely set dancers in a state of trance. “4 You” is not less moving with its catchy bass line, swirling synths and well matured vocals.

On the flipside “Blue Hours” is a subtler but not less thrilling approach that indeed would be working perfectly as a tribute to the short timed period before sunrise. You can almost smell spring when listening to the track. Finally, “Patternwirtschaft (Drums)” aims at DJs who are looking for drum tools and like to have fun with a good ole’ Tom- and Clap-heavy tune.

Again, the cover artwork comes courtesy of Anna Jaszpataki from Dresden who continues the work she started on EP1.
