Opera - first attempt...so far as you know. My first pretend attempt not to write Opera obviously doesn't count. We are playing Opera 'you are allowed to forget one or more earlier catastrophic attempt' rules. Under these rules (which I made up as I went along)...the integer representing deniable (discountable) previous operatic atrocities can only increment. It cannot decrement. Hence, the number of deniable previous attempts may only rise.

I don't really like to explain what my songs are about simply because I hope that listeners have their own personal connection to them.  However, if you look up the definition of an Incubus you'll see that it's not very nice, and so, for this tune, I feel I need to explain that I'm using an Incubus as a metaphor.  What for I'll leave you to decide.  Thank you for listening 🎧

My first attempt to compose a tonal piece was 'North sea for Viola,' and I kept in mind the tradition of the Second Viennese School and what followed . The work should be meta-avant-garde. This recording is the world premiere performance by Diego Naser in 2015 at the Maria-Magdalenen-Kirche in Marne.
