Jo Poole, the talented UK techno artist, presents her latest EP, 'Untethered Mind' which features three mesmerizing tracks that delve deep into the realm of futuristic soundscapes and pulsating rhythms.

In the opening track, 'Untethered Mind' Jo Poole immerses listeners in a dystopian sonic landscape, marked by intricate synth patterns and dark, hypnotic beats. The track gradually builds up the intensity, like a rising tide of technology, transporting the audience to a cybernetic utopia. Jo Poole is a Techno DJ and Producer from the UK. She is well known for her high energy track selections during her sets and over the last few years has been working hard to build her skill set as a techno producer and establish her sound.

A DJ for almost 10 years, she has played for some of the most respected parties, including Drumcode at Tobacco Dock for Techno Bible, and most recently played a 4 hour set after Pleasurekraft in the Hammahalle room at Sisyphos, Berlin. Besides her passion for electronic music, Jo is a keen runner and will often be listening to the genres that first inspired her out on her runs; DnB and early 2000s Trance music. 

Originally from near Bristol, Jo moved to Ibiza in 2019 to spend the summer working on her music production. The now Manchester based artist has been moving from strength to strength with successful releases on Ramon Tapia’s label ; Say What? Records, Spektre’s label; Respekt Recordings. To round off 2022, she has further releases coming up on heavy weight labels; Kraftek, ODD Recordings and an exciting collaboration with Ramon Tapia.

What does techno look like in its purest form? Clear in its structure. Credible in its message. With an insistent beat in the background. With its heart in the right place. And its melody in the tips of the never-ending goosebumps.Those who know, are aware of that. Those who can, do it. At Complexed Records they've only been doing just that since 2014. But they do it with a sound that embodies such determination that it could just as well come from the good old days in the beginning. That's primarily down to label boss Drumcomplex, who in this short period and with very few artists has established a reputation that has projected virtually every new release into the playlists of the major players. And in the process he and his label have themselves grown to become a major force.It's as if Complexed Records hit the nerve of an age which was not openly calling out for a powerful breath of techno past, yet still seems relieved to hear it. Or rather, to absorb it. Who would have thought a few years ago that once again a new techno label would be established and experience such a meteoric rise. But let's leave the past in peace. Let's look to the future. A glittering future with packed dance floors, on which visionaries once again celebrate music as a unifying element as they dance together into the early hours, with gratified smiles on their faces. And the sound they're dancing to? Complexed Records. Modern Future Techno.
