As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

For the next installment of Renaissance’s acclaimed The ReMix Collection, Drumcode boss Adam Beyer taps his label cohorts Bart Skils and Layton Giordani to join him in creating a pulverizing remix of Pete Lazonby's classic 1994 UK techno track, 'Sacred Cycles'. 

Giving the tune a tough and voluminous treatment with their signature Drumcode sounds, the trio beefs up Lazonby's original track with an injection of heart-pumping bassline and swooping synths.

Adam Beyer, Bart Skils and Layton Giordani's remix of Pete Lazonby's 'Sacred Cycles' will drop on May 24 via Renaissance.

Radio Slave’s momentous ‘Another Club’ receives two thumping remixes from SRVD and Charlotte de Witte.

‘Another Club’ was the 100th release on Rekids and dropped as the label celebrated a milestone ten years. It unquestionably became one of Techno’s biggest tracks ever made. Two years later, the landmark production receives outstanding remixes from two of the genre’s most salient artists: NovaMute producer Charlotte de Witte, who’s just collaborated with Chris Liebing on her newly launched KNTXT imprint, as well as the ever-impressive Patrick Mason and Radio Slave who team up again as SRVD.

Charlotte de Witte’s remix of ‘Another Club’ marches forward with pounding 909 style kicks, hooking acid hits, fleeting voice samples and haunting pads. SRVD’s remix then uses the vocals as stabs, adding tension with rave inspired synths, buzzing keys and splashing cymbals, while locking it all together with thundering drums and sub frequency rumbles.

Radio Slave - Another Club (Charlotte De Witte Remix)

Fresh from producing a blistering remix of ‘Camargue’ earlier this year, Maceo Plex returns with his first Drumcode EP in five years.

Maceo Plex hasn't dropped an original on Drumcode since 2014 when the hugely popular 'Conjure Infinity' EP was released. Despite this, he's been a significant feature at DC events over the last year. Sharing a tight relationship with Adam Beyer, the pair have laid down memorable B2B sets at Warehouse Project, Ultra Music Festival, and the Resistance opening party in Ibiza this summer, thus cementing their tight musical bond.

Produced in the early part of 2019, 'Destination Mars' marks his terrific return to Beyer's iconic label. The track is trademark Maceo, a master class in tension and release, characterized by a slick low-end bass hum that gathers steam as crunchy drum lines and breathy vocal accents combine effectively with the main vocal lead, a contribution from Josh Wink, no less. No surprise, it went down a storm when debuted at Time Warp's mammoth 25th-anniversary party in April and has been highlighting the Ellum boss' sets ever since. The ever-reliable Raxon is charged with remix duties, stripping back the track's engine to focus on a central melody, chugging bassline, and hypnotizing vocal effects. Shall Ocin's re-rub is made for misty-eyed mornings as celestial pads result in a transcendental finale to bring it home.

Markantonio is back on his label AnalyticTrail with a new release featuring his original track “LOA” Alongside a remix by I AM BAM.

One of the people who helped pioneer the techno scene in his home country of Italy, Markantonio has a career that reaches back over two decades and includes many releases on labels such as Odd Recordings, Say What?, Second State, Tronic, Intec and Codex Recordings.

I AM BAM is an Italian born talent who now based in Berlin, has been producing electronic music from a young age, and has built up an impressive catalogue of releases on Terminal M, Octopus and Suara.

Featuring acid tones and trashing percussion, this release has a fast and furious energy with intense synth lines. I AM BAM also adds building suspense with his intense rework that focuses on brooding atmospherics.
