I've been working on this one on and off for over two years. That doesn't mean this track is any better than it otherwise would be, it's just a long time haha. I consider myself much more a producer than a vocalist, but these lyrics about procrastinating were very fun to sing/write.

The universal struggle of putting things off and resorting to more easily available sources of dopamine such as social media and alcohol is exactly what this song aims to embody. Although not offering a complete solution to the problem that plagues my own productivity, this song is sure to take the listener on a journey filled with ear candy melodies, funky bass lines and dreamy chords.

I hope you enjoy, and I cannot wait to deliver the full album to you in a few weeks.

I've moved a lot over the past 12 months. 4 different places to be exact. I started this song 3 apartments ago, which is crazy. Regardless, it's about time it's off of my hard drive and out in the world for you to hear.
I wrote these lyrics about the self conflicting nature of my thoughts regarding relationships and vulnerability. Losing yourself in someone often means also losing a part of yourself, as well as some control. Maybe that’s good, maybe it’s not. Being human is weird.
Anyways, I had a very enjoyable time making this song. This is also a self release, so go tell your friends to stream the song a bunch!!

This is the most special song I've ever made. Also the most vulnerable thing I've ever shared. I'm very proud to share it with you and I'm extremely grateful for your support. 

Here's the story:
Before I got the opportunity to move from Wisconsin to Los Angeles, I met a girl. (Ik it's cheesy) I really liked her though, and decided we'd both continue to hang out up until I left the state. At some point it made me pretty sad that amongst all the other goodbyes, I also had to let go of someone I really enjoyed in order to pursue my dreams on the other side of the country. Needless to say I was pretty bummed about it and so I wrote this song while I was deep in my feelings.
I got the legendary Scro to play electric guitars on this one and it turned out absolutely insane. I truly hope you enjoy and I can't thank you enough for listening :)
