Thiago Guimarães (@orathiago) é influenciador digital, criador de conteúdos e polêmicas, fã de novela, anime e até mesmo do homem-aranha, e antes de - ou durante - tudo isso, já era dj.

Após uma apresentação memorável na FABRIK #009, agora ele retorna à Rádio Complexo com esse mix produzido com a ideia de trazer uma "pistinha" pra dentro de casa, criando a sensação de uma noite tranquila com amigos minutos antes de uma "pistona", passando por algumas das faixas mais interessantes que o artista ouviu em 2022, mas voltando de leve pros anos 80. O resultado final é uma mistura de synthwave, house, hip hop, disco e um pouco de techno.

Amanda Goes atua como DJ na cena curitibana desde 2018, e, desde então, passou por diversas festas e casas noturnas da cidade, se tornando figurinha carimbada nas noites. 

Com muita experiência nas pistas de funk, hip hop e pop, no ano de 2022 lançou seu novo projeto focado no universo da música eletrônica, explorando sem limitações a união desses mundos a sua pesquisa de ritmos 4x4, electro, uk garage, breaks e até misturas retrofuturistas e nostálgicas presentes no universo do house e synthwave.

Amanda atualmente é residente dos selos curitibanos Microondas e Lavanda.

Bootlegs and underground music scenes have been closely tied entities for years. people have always been secretly exchanging pirate bowie’s concert tapes, rare psychedelic rock nuggs, obscure funk breaks… even the hometown dj’s last mixtape got recorded on sly by the sneakiest guy on the block, in order to provide his mate’s cars with the freshest sound for a few bucks.

Few weeks ago we had a blast. An event that will live rent-free in our minds for quite a while, being blessed by the music from our guests we had the pleasure to invite in Sao Paulo. Between two spinning records, we also had the chance to experience a live performance, from someone we recommend to keep your eyes open for: @villaca1

That night he delivered some of the most uplifting, energetic and engaging music we’ve had the chance to hear. If you were not there, your top dogs got your back: here’s the live recording for your ears.

'Retrospectivo' contains each of their original releases, com- plemented by a host of exceptional remixes from other key figures in the scene. The CDs were preceded by warmly welcomed new reissues of Terra and Fuego, stretching out over a luxurious 2+ hours of prime techno. 'Diablo' kicks things off, sounding as fresh as the day it was unleashed in 2008, and is accompanied by the Carlo Lio remix that pushes its muscular driving vibe into a new territory. Dios also appears with the rework from Jon Gaiser, via his Atheists Anonymous Remix, crystallizing the original’s 10 minute form into a taut, powerful six minutes of dance floor gold. The new track 'Humano' appears here in four glorious versions from the original via newer interpretations from Hatzler, SHADED’s Summer Skin Remix and the Victor Ruiz mix.

Kicking off CD2, 'Fuego' burns as brightly as ever with additional heat added by Julian Jeweil’s masterful remix, while 'Terra' gets the treatment by the ever dependable Joseph Capriati. Three different mixes each of 'Aire' and 'Agua' complete the package, with the combined talents of Matador, Peter Dundov and Detroit’s own Carl Craig rounding off the compilation in particu- larly fine style.

Both Dubfire and Oliver Huntemann have pursued their own paths that have seen them reach dizzying heights within the techno world, but these recordings and their expertly curated reworks will remain a benchmark for many.

As a special bonus, both the digital version and the Double-CD (via a download code) include an hour-long 'Retrospectivo'-mix by Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann.
