Comport Records hit release number 40 with a new EP from Luigi Gori & Larsun Hesh that features a remix from Anis Hachemi and offers some quality club weapons for DJs and dancers alike. 

Blow of the Synth is the opener and is a house track with a dark bassline and mid tempo drums. A phased synth pans about to add scale and the whole thing unfolds like a real adventure as swooning chords and big synths join the mix. In the Middle of Life is another driving track that builds in layers of synth, icy hi hats and with plenty of sci-fi vibes all taking you into the cosmos. 

The remix of Blow of the Synths from Anis Hachemi is dark, with heavy drums and big rumbling bass notes. It’s the sort of track to blow up the club and rounds out the EP in style.

Onur Ozman links up with the celebrated vocalist Lazarusman for a new EP on Comport. It features their standout original It Hurts and comes with a wealth of remixes from the likes of Audio Junkies, Matthias Schuell and Khainz.

Version 1 of It Hurts is a dark and complex tune with spangled synths and icy percussion layered over the rolling drums. Version 2 is more freaky and tripped out with the Lazarusman vocals layering in darkness over the top, while the Prelude itself is a vocal interlude that will be great for DJs who like to be adventurous.

The Audio Junkies remix is stripped back and deep, with slippery drums and spine tingling synths all getting you into a hypnosis. Matthias Schuell then serves up a much more melodic version with sci-fi keys and far gazing chords that carry you away into another galaxy. Last of all is Khainz, an edgy version with digital sound designs and a freaky mood that keeps you guessing.

This is a fantastic package from an exciting label that offers plenty for everyone.

Now, with her live set evolving, her Multiversum events and record label Comport maturing, 2021 looks to be the most propitious year yet for this bright and promising individual. DANSOR's performances have graced Sziget Festival, Ozora Festival and Balaton Sound, not to mention an inventive appearance at Amsterdam Dance Event where she performed her debut album ‘Theory Of Love’ live with her band, her interactive live performance with a sensor jacket, visuals and violin player Ewa Pepper during TEDx Haarlem or her new live set controlled by sensor gloves streamed by Electronic Groove in partnership with Valhalla Music, Conflux Connect and Bespoke Musik.

Following a string of lauded singles, Dansor finally drops her eclectic debut album ‘Theory Of Love’ on her very own Comport Records.

Based in Haarlem, Dansor is fast becoming one of the Netherland’s most auspicious exports. A multifaceted DJ, producer, live act and visual designer, Hungarian-born Anett Kulcsar has released on Tulipa, Nervous as well as her own established Comport Records imprint. She’s also the former winner of Pete Tong’s Bedroom Bedlam and Dave Clarke’s ADE Demolition panel - whilst more recently she performed her album live alongside jazz musicians at ADE.
Her debut long player is a true testament to her versatility as a producer with every track offering different aesthetics.

"The album is the story of my life so far, expressed musically. It's a fusion of electronic and live stuff, house and tech house with influences from jazz, funk and 80s. It has a retro-futuristic vibe with old and new melting together,” she explains.

A fuzzy bassline and piercing guitar licks make up title track ‘Theory Of Love’ with Dutch vocalist Ayden Vice’s gloomy voice accentuating the dusky production elements. Funky bass guitar and warbling atmospherics are imminent in ‘The Time’, before ‘Hallo’ takes things into deeper territories with piercing chords and tantalising melodies.
‘Hunger Of The Steel’ sees Dansor team up with singer-songwriter Jeffrey Snijder, who she won ADE’s Demolition contest with, once again for a varied number featuring a medley of organic instruments. ‘Tryplex’ is then an undulating cut with intricate percussion in contrast to the bouncy ‘The Pop Pop’ and its infectious groove. Firm kicks drive ‘Women Are From Venus’ forward as spectral vocal snippets and intermittent keys come and go, until the sultry and hypnotising ‘Inverted Moments’ delivers an array of hypnotising sounds.

The third and final collaboration sees renowned jazz musician Saskia Laroo accompany Dansor in a production complete with trumpets, gentle keys and subtle crackles, before ‘Nobody’ ties the package
together with mesmerising cacophony of sounds complete with a poignant use of guitar.

Day).

Up first on the package, Katermukke artist Edouard! remolds Dansor’s ‘Hunger Of The Steel’ into a low-slung house track geared for the dancefloor featuring sultry synths and soaring atmospherics. Known for releasing on Popof’s FORM imprint, Animal & Me’s remix is then more stripped back in comparison, combining melancholic violins with subtle nuances before erupting into a metallic hook.

Inyan Music’s Mario Neha adds a sci-fi element to his rendition as dystopian bleeps and whirrs operate on top of the original’s chopped and looped bassline before Sean McCaff concludes the package with a production implementing echoing effects and samples.

Onur Ozman links up with the celebrated vocalist Lazarusman for a new EP on Comport. It features their standout original It Hurts and comes with a wealth of remixes from the likes of Audio Junkies, Matthias Schuell and Khainz.

Version 1 of It Hurts is a dark and complex tune with spangled synths and icy percussion layered over the rolling drums. Version 2 is more freaky and tripped out with the Lazarusman vocals layering in darkness over the top, while the Prelude itself is a vocal interlude that will be great for DJs who like to be adventurous.

The Audio Junkies remix is stripped back and deep, with slippery drums and spine tingling synths all getting you into a hypnosis. Matthias Schuell then serves up a much more melodic version with sci-fi keys and far gazing chords that carry you away into another galaxy. Last of all is Khainz, an edgy version with digital sound designs and a freaky mood that keeps you guessing.

This is a fantastic package from an exciting label that offers plenty for everyone.

We would like to thank you all for your support in 2012 with this beautiful and relevant 2012 rework of "Gloomy Sunday" by the talented Christopher Ivor. 

The original song composed by Hungarian pianist and composer Rezso Seress and published in 1933, as "Vége a világnak" ("End of the world").  Lyrics were written by László Jávor, and in his version the song was retitled "Szomorú vasárnap" ("Sad Sunday"). 
It became well known throughout much of the English-speaking world after the release of a version by Billie Holiday in 1941. 

With this song we also would like to remember all the people who commited suicide because they didn't see a way out anymore, inclusive Rezso Seress, the composer of the original version.

We will give away this special 2012 rework by Christopher Ivor as a free download on 21-12-12.
