I'm having a blast in Overwatch. I got the game soon after it came out and it's so much fun! My favourite characters to play as are are Genji, D. Va, Mei, and McCree.

Since the music is amazing (as always with Blizzard), I wanted to do my best at making a cover of the Overwatch theme with piano and guitar - the main theme and the victory theme. And I wanted to thrown in a Play of the Game. I had fun making this! I began my channel with just piano but I wanted to learn electric guitar so I could make cooler videos, a guitar cover here and there. I'm really happy I'm bringing guitar to my videos now! Cue Overwatch Victory Theme.

For the end, I wanted to throw in some Overwatch quotes, and since I'm Australian, I thought Junkrat was the one to go with. So I did my best impression of him.

Just so I can be a hipster - I've enjoyed Blizzard games since Starcraft 1 (Power Overwhelming). Starcraft II, WoW, Diablo 3, Hearthstone - and now Overwatch. I'm yet to play Heroes of the Storm but I think I'll be all about Overwatch for a while! You can always count on Blizzard Entertainment to bring top quality product. And Overwatch is certainly no exception! Plus the Overwatch music is exceptional.

Stargazers is the opener from the second Nightwish album, Oceanborn. It's a big, powerful song with a lot of technical, virtuosic material! Very very very difficult to play, but I think it was well worth it to pull it off. My patrons on Patreon voted for Stargazers as my next piano arrangement and I really hope you enjoy it!

I think that Oceanborn is such a beautiful album. With the mythological concepts in the lyrics like this, you can get a glimpse of the composer's imagination. Tuomas Holopainen wrote all of the music and lyrics and you can definitely hear the incredible effort that went into Oceanborn. I always love Tuomas's music, there's something very special about it. This is why I adapt Nightwish music for piano - the essence of the music is so good, it works very well even on different instruments.

This song is such a great Halloween classic! I thought it was about time to add my cover of Spooky Scary Skeletons to the mix as I had the idea to make this video for ages! I know there's a great number of fantastic covers so I tried to make mine a little different. I took inspiration from my 331erock for this one as I keep watching his video again and again and again, it's just incredible. Definitely the best version of the song out there in my opinion. I don't usually sing in videos... Ever. I don't think I'm much of a singer and I don't have a great voice but I wanted to do this video so much and I did the best I possibly could. Also this is the first time you're seeing my brand new (second hand) M-Audio Axiom 49 midi controller! I've wanted something for ages that I can use the pitch bend and mod wheel on and finally I have it! I spent ages working out the coolest keyboard solo for the middle and made use of what this keyboard has that my piano doesn't (I still don't think I can match up to erock's face-melting solo from his Spooky Scary Skeletons video).

I worked on this video a lot and tried to bring my channel to a new level. I actually spent a lot longer on the audio production than usual as well since I've been trying to increase my production skills. So I hope you can notice the better quality!

Escapist from Dark Passion Play by Nightwish is here on piano!

Escapist is the bonus track from the 2007 Nightwish album Dark Passion Play. Its lyrics are about being mired in reality and wishing, wanting to escape - escapism. In 2005, Nightwish fired Tarja Turunen, their vocalist since 1996. This resulted in an incredible amount of attention focused on Tuomas and he calls this his "dark period", a very unhappy time. Given this, you can understand why he wrote the song "Escapist" - he was a nightingale in golden cage, locked in reality's maze.

Despite the dark tone, I love this song. I was always amazed that it was not included in the Dark Passion Play album as honestly it's possibly the best song from that period! And the best suited to Anette's voice. Tuomas wrote something incredible with this - Escapist is one of his best songs in my opinion. So it was good to make a piano version of it! Please enjoy Escapist, piano version!

This piece was written for a friend who is deeply interested in aviation and who has volunteered at aviation museums. She is particularly fond of the GAF Nomad N22, an aircraft designed and built in Melbourne by the Australian Government Aircraft Factories. It was the last Australian designed and built
aircraft off a military production line. The Nomad was notably used by the Australian Army, the Australian Customs Service and the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.

Flight of the Nomad is inspired by the exhilarating feeling of flying and the innovative history of Australian aviation. Flight of the Nomad was the winner of the 2017 South Brisbane Federal Band Composition Competition.
