The Tempest

“Omnireflectional” takes a new direction than other works I have composed. While pieces premiered in the past have been composed under the influence of one composition instructor, this piece was composed under two, Mark Harbold and David DeVasto. Studying under both of them, I was able to take both of their compositional approaches and have them influence the piece. Latitude 49 performed it live.

Compromise! was written for Doug Droste and premiered by the Muncie Symphony Orchestra in 2017.  For many, the word ‘compromise’ indicates weakness or lack of principle, but this is a dangerous position. Our (U.S.) politicians will need to relearn how to compromise in order to find reasonable solutions and move our country in the right direction.
