Greensleeves

Started this track back in '13 but never finished it. Just returned to it recently, composed the last few bits, and made a final mix and master.

Arrival

Pretty simple this time round! The only two libraries I used (period) for this track were 8dio's Adagietto strings and 1928 Steinway. :D

My attempt was to depict the denial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ with this track. It wasn't easy writing.

The title says it all, really. It's several themes I scribbled down over the course of about a month and decided to mash up together into a larger orchestral piece.

UPDATE: After much ado and advice from others (online and in person) I finally worked out a name for this piece: MEMORIES.  Hope you like it!

"It's a feeling that is too complex for a name, it can't be summed up in words, really... like a mystery that involves waltzing atop an iceberg in the moonlight on a calm, green sea, a lovely ship harbored safely nearby, all lit up with warm lanterns, the intricate rigging and flags gently swaying in the light touch of a warm breeze from the south here and there. The cool, salty ocean mist brings a crisp freshness to the air, the gentle sound of the water lapping up against the aged, sturdy hull, represents years of history, generations of unique culture, mystery, and adventure that is just about to happen, as the first hints of dawn begin showing themselves in the faintest warm golden glow along the infinite, deep blue-green horizon. A new life has begun. The hero has fought his battle, and won. The eternal romance is about to bloom- AND the piece ended, so who knows what happens in the... sequel... please write a sequel, that was cool. Sorry I couldn't think of a name.
