Edward Richards is an experimental techno producer and selector from Melbourne, Australia. His productions follow a deep and hypnotic archetype, heavily relying on percussive elements and found sound to express his vision and translate it accurately to the dance floor. 

Edward is fast becoming a staple of the Melbourne Techno scene and through that we invited Edward to start the first Compound Podcast with this hypnotic and mesmerising set. He takes us through a dreamlike journey from start to finish that will leave you in awe.

Auditory 01 - Edward Richards

We've invited Fergus to take on the second podcast for us! This mix consists of mainly originals from Fergus, an absolutely smooth mix from the man himself. 

Fergus Sweetland is a Melbourne based producer and DJ who's invested himself in electronic music since 2007. Since then, Fergus has probed various genres and influences, especially techno. 

Currently, he is involved in managing the Melbourne based podcast 'Bomphcast' and performing as a live techno and production duo, Back Burners. 

His DJ set's are a sonic experience which delve into layerings of sounds, hypnotic rhythms and soundscapes while maintaining a forceful and impacting low end beat and groove.

For our third podcast we've invited T.U.B.

This mix goes through all the emotions necessary. T.U.B. is an outlet for the two artists to explore various forms of techno and electronica.

For our fourth podcast, we have invited @adrianbell to take us on an embryonic journey.

In this mix he jumps through waves of genres, no restrictions, no complications. 

Adrian Bell is one of the most respected names in Melbourne's techno community for his limitless dedication to the scene and to the dissemination of quality techno. 

His distinctive sound is one that moves further and deeper into the heavier side of spectrum. An Adrian Bell set is comprised of wall-to-wall techno: the darker, the harder; the better. But by no means does it make for a boring listen; he manages to enrich his sets with elements of avant-garde hovers and hums, and driving and buoyant soundscapes. Despite this proclivity for a sound palette full of intense, all consuming techno, Adrian’s approach to DJing is not one-dimensional, and uses his interest in unorthodox styles of music to inspire his sets.

For our fifth podcast, we are proud to present our first international act, none other, the prince of dub techno, @yagya .

Under the guise of Plastic and as a member of Sanasol, he has presented pulsating deep techno on Thule records. As Yagya, he presents spacier and headier interpretations of dub techno and ambience.

Close your eyes, feet up and just drift away.

Vibrations fuel your movement, and these movements further consolidate the beautiful vibrations that surround you.
