From 2007 to 2013 I was releasing music compilations (comps for short) via the musicblog comps4jenna.  I was also broadcasting an even wider selection of music across the airwaves through my show The Quest running from 2010 to 2013 on the Chicago Independent Radio Project (CHIRP).  After a 6-year hiatus, in 2019 I mailed out postcards (technically index cards) to friends and family sharing four more comps seasonally themed Comps 65 (Spring) through 68 (Winter).

The origin of these compilations dates back to early 2007 when I gave several mixes to my friend Jenna.  In Fall 2020 I recompiled those initial mixes into Comps 1-4 (which had been reserved as placeholders for all those years on comps4jenna – the first comp ever released for public consumption was Comp 5) and Comps 69-72 bookending all previous releases.  These re-compilations were once again shared with friends and family this time using actual postcards.  All 72 compilations are available here and in a Spotify playlist named quest4comps in which now the word "comps" is also short for completeness.
