An idea I've been working on. Really happy with the way the quieter section turned out in here and the way it transitions into part 1 of the solo. I'll leave the second half for the final release.... ;)

A while ago, I fell in love with Initial D and caught the Eurobeat bug...so of course I have to try my hand at it! :)

Produced in Ableton Live 9 with an MXL V67G, Roland Alpha Juno, way too many softsynths, and my custom Jazz bass.

Did this cover in a couple late-night hours as a bit of quick-cover practice. It's also a great excuse to test out my new S90ES...although I intentionally mangled the sound quite a bit to match the Dreamcast original, haha.

All sounds from my Yamaha S90ES, except bass (custom Jazz through Behringer BDI21) and voice (MXL V67G). Recorded/mixed in Ableton.

Oh yeah - this is the first track I've released featuring a few members of the Unreal Choir (really just a crapton of vocal processing, but let's pretend they're an actual choir). You might hear from them again sometime in the future.
