Twenty seventh episode of B2B channel. This time with Omidox. From Hamburg, I want to welcome another great and excellent DJ Who I appreciate very much and Who has a personal and beautiful style, and a lot of class in his sessions. Love his great talent with excellent selections, and his elegance in his mixes, to get excellent sessions with a great musical taste. I must highlight his Soundcloud channel “Hypnotic Podcast” full of great artists. Is a pleasure for me to can share with him and with all of you this musical space that I hope you like. Omid was born In Persia but grew up in Germany, Hamburg. He started playing music in 1992! He started with Hip-Hop and Funk but in the past 6 years he started focusing on House, Techno and Deep Electronic Garage.

Today he is also owner of the "Hypnotic Podcast" series.

Hungry Music has the kind of waterproof musical aesthetic that not many labels with under twenty releases under their belt have. The output is bold and atmospheric at same time. Travels through misty soundscapes are just one of their trademarks. The french label established its sound through a close circle of friends - namely, Worakls, N’to & Joachim Pastor.

It’s now time to let some of the most powerful recent releases get re-interpreted through six exclusive remixes.

The Hungry gang took on each others work and also invited luminaries and friends of the label such as Oliver Koletzki, Einmusik and Boris Brejcha to provide a mix for the first in a series of upcoming remix EPs.

We met Kevin through Britta Unders and we were instantly impressed by his warm being. Meeting artists like Kevin instantly brings the urge to start working together. The fact that he's such an incredible artist sealed the deal. 

On Friday we start a hopefully long relationship, but first we get to enjoy his interpretation of The Gardens. Enjoy angels and we welcome each other again on Friday.

Hastig greife ich nach dem Handy und öffne die Nachricht. Ich bin aufgeregt und mein Herz schlägt wie der Bass eines Techno Tracks.
„Liebe ComRa Mitarbeiter, das nächste große Event steht an und der Raverend ist back in town. Jetzt seid ihr als Botschafter der Musik gefragt. Geht hinaus und verbreitet die frohe Kunde. Bringt die treuen Techno-Jünger wieder in die heilige Kathedrale und lasst uns eine weitere Musikmesse der Superlative feiern. Ihr wisst wie wichtig dieses Projekt für die ComRa Gemeinde ist. Euer voller Einsatz ist jetzt gefragt, damit der Raverend von der Kanzel aus die Massen erreichen kann und wir bald eine neue Ära der Glückseligkeit einläuten können. Ein Zeitalter in der alle Menschen frei ihre Gefühle im Tanz ausdrücken können. Damit möglichst effektiv die Menschen erreicht werden können, wird die Stadt wieder in Zonen eingeteilt und jeder Botschafter bekommt eine Zone zugewiesen. Die Einteilung der Zonen und eine Liste potenzieller Raver findet ihr im Anhang.

Meine Gedanken überschlagen sich nach dem Lesen dieser Nachricht. Es gibt also mehrere Botschafter der Musik. Ich dachte dieser Posten wäre einzigartig. Nun gut es braucht wahrscheinlich mehrere Botschafter, um so ein engagiertes Ziel durchzusetzen. Ich bin auch etwas enttäuscht, dass mein Engagement nicht in einer fremden exotischen Region beginnt, in der die Menschen nicht die Gelegenheit haben große Raves zu besuchen. Aber irgendwo muss man ja schließlich anfangen und hier habe ich immerhin den Heimvorteil und kann die Botschaft des großen Raverends verbreiten. Meine anfänglich getrübte Stimmung wandelt sich bald in Tatendrang. Ich will meinen Beitrag leisten, um die Welt zu einem lauteren Ort zu machen.

Born in 1983 in Liège, Belgium, Maxime Firket grew up surrounded by music. He studied music theory and classical music at the Academy and did not choose the easy route by opting to study the cello. "A demanding and monodic instrument which forces you to find the right sound and the right note to make yourself heard. My cello background is still useful to me today." As an adolescent, he dreamt of playing in a rock group, but also discovered Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Detroit techno. After having created his own studio and put together a few mixes on a Roland Compuphonic synthesiser (yes, that’s where the name comes from...), Maxime soon found himself behind the decks at Dirty Dancing nights in Brussels and recorded his first tracks for Dirty Dancing Recordings. In 2006, his reputation exploded on the dance floor with the groovy "Emotion", produced in collaboration with Tiga and released on his label ‘Turbo Recordings’.
 
Compuphonic’s dedication and elaborateness delivers spontaneous productions of hedonistic house. Natural, open to large spaces, ambitious but always accessible. Handling music as the art form it is. Alternating complicated with simple pieces, electronic with organic, light with dark, ease with emotional, celebration with pondering. Telling a different, but in its way even more exciting new tale, time and time again.
 
His underground hit “Sunset” ft Marques Toliver reached over 10 000 000 views (and counting) on YouTube and got support on BBC Radio 1 by Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Rob Da Bank and key media / blogs.
 
More recently his releases ’Radio Atlantis’ and ‘The Sun Does Rise’ on Berlin’s  super label Exploited Records  have picked up great support by radio stations and bloggers worldwide and after playing shows at Pukkelpop, Dour Festival, Eurosonic, SXSW, Sonar Festival, Monegros,, he's set to become one of Europe's best known too.
 
His new EP “My Love” is expected mid November on Exploited Records. In the meantime  we invite you to have a listen to his  popular “Tales” (mixtape) episodes on Soundcloud.
