Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. Sitting alongside fellow subdivisions 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds, Future Avenue looks to provide a home for new and rising talent. With an ethos centred around progressive music and its surrounding derivatives, the label is a platform which gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their music alongside established veterans as they carve out their own musical identity.

Die 120. Katalognummer vom Berliner Label @off-recordings steht in den Startlöchern. Am 12. Oktober 2015 veröffentlicht @andre-crom seine EP "Hold On Tonight", für die er mit dem Sänger Bramwell zusammengearbeitet hat. "Zwischen März und Juni 2015", sagt Crom, habe er die Nummer produziert. It’s a long time since we last heard from dOP. The boys have been far from quiet, continuing to tour and enchant party people across the world with their infectious fusion of house music and refined songwriting. They’ve equally been no strangers to the studio, with their Les Fils Du Calvaire project releasing the recent Rester Avec Toi collaboration with Miss Kittin in preparation for the debut album of the project later this year. Equally their production talents have been felt in the recent Aquarius Heaven EP Bato Chargé, and vocalist JAW was recently spotted kicking off the Circus Company Limited series with “Traitor Creator”, his collaboration with Piers Faccini. Finally though the time has come for dOP to return to the record in their original form with a new four track EP that perfectly captures where the trio of Damien, Clement and JAW are at right now.

The sound on Email From A Beetle is a full-fat, club ready confection that distills the live energy of dOP into four varied but equally ear-snagging tracks that simply demand your attention. The title track in some ways harks back to the introspection of their earlier material, keeping the rhythmic elements sparse and simmering to lend ample space to JAW’s captivating vocal line, but there’s still plenty of space for Damien’s expressive keys to cut through as the song peaks.

“Melancholia” is, as the name suggests, a more reflective piece with a gentle swing and emotive melodic lines, but there’s plenty more fun times to be had as well as the infectious house bump of “Foreplay” takes hold with a hard-skipping beat and rock solid bass line. If there was any doubt that warm, rounded analogue sounds power dOP these days, “Summer Rain” is on hand with its shocking stabs of dazzling synth capturing a feverish mood that calls out to the impending sunny months of the year.

Always a group committed to moving forward with their sound, this EP serves as an exciting next step for dOP while retaining the compositional flair and addictive energy that has kept them close to our hearts all these years.

Sasch BBC & Caspar first appeared within the Manual family only a few months ago when they did a remix for Ming (GER)'s 'Polara' track on MNL. Now the German duo is back with an impressive EP on Manual Music, presenting two new originals and each of them getting a proper remix treatment.'Demure' is a heavy hitting deep and dubby techno track filled with emotion and subtle twists. Very dreamy- but relentlessly pumping at the same time. Get ready to be mesmerized! Another artist who has been breaking thru in the progressive house- and melodic techno scene lately is Ukrainian producer NekliFF. His releases on Click Records and Dear Deer have been making some serious waves lately and with his remix for 'Demure' he once again proves he's a force to be reckoned with.

PREMIERE: Sasch BBC & Caspar - Demure (NekliFF Remix) [Manual Music]

'It’s the turn of Brazilian producer Against The Time to deliver something special on Us & Them Records. The first track of the EP is called ‘Colider’, it’s a rather melancholic track with a haunting and intense vibe. The pace of the drums keeps the track going, even in the calmer parts of this beautiful soundscape. The second track called ‘Judgement’ is a more emotional cut. The track has less pace than Colider, that however does not mean it lacks dancefloor potential. Last but not least of the original mixes is ‘Vandal’. It’s a melodic track with lots of flowing elements that ultimately create a danceable groove. The main break cuts all the drums for maximum drama, but quickly returns to the tunnel where it came from.
The originals are accompanied by three remixes. First of there is the Colider remix by Paul Anthonee. It is a high-paced techno-bomb like the original, however the drums have a more aggressive feeling to them. Secondly there is the Voices of Valley remix of Judgement, which features the Greek duo’s unique style. The breakdown is where the duo really deliver something unique, huge emotional value leading up to a magnificent climax. The last remix of the EP is delivered by Altego on the track Vandal. It’s a hypnotic emotional track which relies on the main synth to lead the listener through its story. Well structured drums make sure that the track will stand its ground on the dancefloor and beyond.'
