Human Endeavour Records, the newest member of the Ransom Note Records label family, returns with ‘Confession Time’, its second release and first solo artist EP from Anastasia Zems.

Hot on the heels of the inaugural release, a Various Artists EP featuring six producers from across the world, they welcome the DJ, vocalist and producer for a four-track EP of heads down, mid-tempo sludge that sees her thread the needle between acid, EBM, new beat and cold wave.

With opener ‘Underwear’ Anastasia plots a course into murky depths. The most club-ready cut on the release, it’s driven by a pulsating acid line and rumbling bass that soon give way to hypnotic synth patterns and Anastasia’s sultry, commanding spoken word.

On the inspiration behind the EP, Anastasia explains: “Behind each of the tracks there is a story about something personal. It so happens that my vocals usually appear in tracks during improvisation and most often do not change. This is my way of expressing feelings. It turns out that this is the time for confession.”

As a DJ and producer Anastasia Zems chases a counterpart to her urban upbringing, drawing inspiration from the tribal sounds of imagined rainforests. Her psychedelic, rhythmic productions, which she laces with her signature mysterious vocals have earned her singles, remixes and EPs on labels like Needs, Les Yeux Orange, ИДА, Fucanglong Files and Whypeopledance.

Human Endeavour is the newest addition to Ransom Note Records’ family of sub-labels. Curated and run by Ransom Note Editor, and one half of DJ duo Kiara Scuro, Rosie Ama Cain, the label will be a “space for artists who are exploring the dark, deep and hypnotic corners of the musical spectrum.

The voices continued, they rallied and roared on and on. They whispered and shouted, they teased and they taunted, they laughed and they mocked with a resilience like no other.

In the morning, in the evening they reverberated and rebounded with wild abandon.

"You will be mine" was what they whispered.

The sunlight beamed down from up above as the clouds parted and he began to ascend upwards into the sky. Perhaps they'd finally got him? Perhaps this was the time to rise above and beyond...

Jorkes is remixed by Hard Ton on Live At Robert Johnson. Several tracks have been reimagined from the original 'Sweet Dreams' EP from a number of talented artists but this was our out and out favourite from the lot as Hard Ton delivers a blistering cut of cosmic disco.

After his freshly premiered track 'Soft Lips' from the just released neon-drenched 'Midnight Thoughts' 12" EP out on NY-based label Melodize, Chilean Berlin-based producer Aural Trace returns to Feinstoff with 'Dreaming of You' this time exploring faster territories, a sound somewhere between Italo and Techno. Taking inspiration from 80s and 90s-infused club flavours reimagined with a modern vision gives birth to this high-energy dance-floor smasher, loaded with epic synth textures and thick beats underpinned by a gnarly driving bass line.

We’re very happy to welcome on board Back From The Wave for the latest release on the year of our 20th anniversary. Three original cuts followed by a Jorkes remix.
Fred is not a newcomer, he started in electronic music 25 years ago. He made his debut in the early 2000s on two techno and electro French labels: Goodlife and Scandium. Both were an inspiration for us when we started Factor City in 2003. 
Back From The Wave is the most personal project of Fred, exploring and combining electro, techno, italo and Ebm. As he already showed on his excellent releases for Ritmo Fatale, Mélopée, Bordello A Parigi, Nein and here again on these exciting three tracks.
The Ep comes baked with an excellent Jorkes remix. The Vienna based producer and Freeride Millenium co-owner has delivered excellent records and remixes this year on Permanent Vacation, Aus and Live at Robert Johnson. Now on Factor City.

The label´s 1st release is the debut EP of Ivan Olson, with production assistance from Bikatronika and a remix from DJ Noche. We present 5 modern dancefloor oriented electro and techno tracks, with clever samples and vocals that pay tribute to the late 80s and early 90s belgian and german scenes. Taking some elements from new beat, ebm and synthpop, these tracks were made to be used in a club format in order to build up intensity or to get nostalgic at the end of a marathonic afterhours session. Solid basslines that put bodies to move and hipnotic leads that get your mind tripping serve as the ideal balance in this EP which was made to serve as a bridge between modern club music and old school nostalgia.

Starting new EP series "Trance Dance Edits Vol. 1" track's from 127 to 145 bpm, first track "Get Hip To This" is a Euro House track with some cathy bassline and vocal samples from Old Hip House track's, second track  "Believe" is Piano House; it's speed up this EP to 137 bpm, its 90s Piano vibes ,with popular Lately Bass, and the last track from the EP is an old Lithuanian folk song vocal samples "Saulele Patekejo" remixing this track in to Z-Gen Trance or 90s Trance beats, with some epic synth on drop.

Computer Toys as a label gives a home to electronic music, which is not clearly defined by a certain genre, but rather an idea: Taking influences from the 90s and early 2000s into a modern environment without taking ourselves too seriously. Computer Toys was created by DJ and Producer Chris Gerber and is inspired by the scurrility of the early Internet aesthetics - rough and flashy.
