"Opening the new season of Terre Rare, upsammy conjures shifting, iridescent terrains here synthetic flora moves with prismatic motion.
A delicate balance of warmth and alien detachment, her echoing expanse oscillates between chiseled clarity and fluid disorder.
Alongside her, Pietro Agostoni reinterprets the concept of the Stagno drawing session, transforming it into a perceptual flow where gestures layer, deform, and recombine through a visual language in constant mutation. 

Frequencies fracture, memories disassemble. Unheard cadences and fluid impressions fuse, bending the 𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑟𝑒 into new forms. Vibrations rise, ancestral, synthetic, primal. Reverberations warp, surfaces melt, light and sound seep into each other, distorting perception. 
Season 2 deepens the convergence, expanding the threshold of experience. A ritual of contamination."

Italian dj, sonic explorer (and spatial researcher), Luce Clandestina aspires to create spontaneous soundscapes that traverse the realms of light and darkness. salam ! 

i thought it important to stay true to the emotions that birthed seed. so the first one is from me 

i found this process very difficult, got stuck in the headspace of wanting to make it a good ‘mix’ but it just not working while staying true to these feelings. and i realised that it’s not meant to be make sense, feeling these emotions simultaneously is jarring, it’s abrupt highs and lows, it’s stop and start, it’s silence. cold and warm. it’s the complete disruption of flow following slight cohesion- conflicting. it’s disrupted diversions into altering soundscapes

i had a go at this a few times, and this version was my last attempt. i cried the whole way through and it was on that very spicy full moon, it’s raw- but it’s honest

Communion is an independent collective.
Its aim is to support and disseminate hybrid sonic worlds, possible musics originated from the clash between cultures differently set in time and space.


The project began in 2014 with the organization of periodic happenings and at the end of 2016 started a complementary activity as a record label.
The place where the collective moved its first steps and in which still works are the freed spaces of Macao, the new center for art, culture and research based in Milan.

Further mutations are to be expected.
