Ain't Too Late

Nathaniel Paul’s sophomore album “Turpentine” (out Spring 2022 via AWAL). Singer-songwriter and producer from The Emmy award winning band ‘The Bergamot’, is set to release his sophomore album in the spring of 2022. The album’s 2nd single “Turpentine” is out on Jan. 21st.

“Turpentine” is the follow up to his critically acclaimed debut album “Learning to Listen” out last year. 

The new single “Turpentine” will premiere on Obscure Sound on January 21st, 2022.

“I almost died shooting this video” states Paul. “I thought it wasn’t going to be all that bad. But when your actually hanging upside down, it really gives you tunnel vision.” He laughs. “But honestly, we live in a world of chemicals and things trying to kill us all the time, I thought this was the perfect way to convey the message of the song.” 

Nathaniel shot the video for “Turpentine” hanging upside down. The song lyrics start with “Take me off that assembly line” referring to the state of homogeneity that has been created through the overconsumption of news, social media, and the internet at large. The song hopes to take a look at what we are going through as a culture. 

Nathaniel will be releasing a series of music videos and singles throughout 2022 to promote a new album out this summer. So keep an eye out. 

Nathaniel Paul - (Singer-Songwriter, Producer, Multi-Instrumentalist) has created a full length record from a closet. Glide Magazine says Nathaniel has created, “a bold musical statement with cutting vocal dynamics that weave throughout warm and fastidious instrumental color. Paul possesses an acute sense of production and arrangement, creating a whimsically creative world reminiscent of Tame Impala and Mac Demarco.”
