Labelle was an American all-female singing group who were a popular vocal group of the 1960s and 1970s. The group was formed after the disbanding of two rival girl groups in the area around Philadelphia and Trenton, the Ordettes and the Del-Capris, forming as a new version of the former group, then later changing their name to the Blue Belles (later Bluebelles). The founding members were Patti LaBelle (formerly Patricia Holt), Cindy Birdsong, Nona Hendryx, and Sarah Dash.

As the Bluebelles, and later Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles, the group found success with ballads in the doo-wop genre, most notably "Down the Aisle (The Wedding Song)", "You'll Never Walk Alone", and "Over the Rainbow". After Birdsong departed to join the Supremes in 1967, the group, following the advice of Vicki Wickham, changed its look, musical direction, and style to re-form as Labelle in 1971. Their funk rock recordings of that period became cult favorites for their brash interpretation of rock and roll and for dealing with subject matter that was not typically touched by female black groups. Finally – after adapting glam rock and wearing outlandish space-age and glam costumes – the group found success with the proto-disco smash "Lady Marmalade" in 1974, leading to their album Nightbirds, which achieved gold success. They are notable for being the first contemporary pop group and first black pop group to perform at the Metropolitan Opera House. They were also the first black vocal group to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone.

The group members each went on their own after the end of a tour in 1976, going on to have significant solo success. Nona Hendryx followed an idiosyncratic muse into a solo career that often bordered on the avant-garde;[1] Sarah Dash became a celebrated session singer; Patti LaBelle enjoyed a very successful Grammy-winning career, with nine top-20 R&B hits between 1963 and 1976, and lifetime-achievement awards from the Apollo Theatre, World Music Awards, and BET Awards.

I've been a loooong time fan of this much sought after feel-good track, originally recorded in 1982 by Miss Randy Crawford, and it was not easy finding a new production that could have new ideas for teh dance floor while staying true to its breezy flava...
So I spent 2 years working back and forth on it, improving the step by step work flow on Keyboards, Bass and Drums... Until I ended up with ultimate and Remastered version.

Conan released ‘Sunny’s Theme”, a Bucketheads disco styled opus and this track led him onto peer-championed classics ‘One time for your mind’ and “Bring it back”. 
With over 400 releases to his name and a main room staple on the international Clubbing circuit, taking in almost every continent and major clubbing brand, including an appearance on Top of The Pops for his top 40 track ‘Monster’ (yes seriously), Conan has captivated dance floors with both his solo and Liquid People projects. 
Championed by the best in the business (we said we wouldn’t name drop but seriously take a look at this list): Masters at work, Todd Terry, Pete Tong, DJ Spen, Dave Lee, Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, Roger S, his extremely impressive discography features on many major labels including MN2s, Tropical Disco, Defected Records, Strictly Rhythm, Sony, Z records, Africanism, Launch, Big Love and Catch 22 and productions for artists including Ashanti, Lighthouse Family, Talking Heads, Todd Terry, Radiohead, Blondie, Imogen Heap and All Saints. 
Conan now resides in Dubai where he runs the boutique label Crates Motel Records.
