The upcoming guest set to spin the decks is the Utrecht based Lektor. Known for his distinctive style, Lektor is dedicated to crafting narratives through the tools at his disposal. He deliberately uses the term 'tools' because he doesn't merely search for complete tracks; instead, he seeks out specific segments within tracks that he can manipulate to his liking. As he works his magic, he remains attuned to the crowd's energy, allowing it to guide him through time and space, creating a seamless flow. Confusion is a Heidelberg-based producer and resident DJ of the Raserei collective. His dancefloor-oriented sound is characterized by highly effective rhythms, minimalist synths, and trippy pads or textures that traverse various tempos and subgenres, maintaining a consistent energy level. Drawing inspiration from his roots as a drummer and the evolving landscape of techno over the decades, Confusion also finds creative influence in his appreciation for ambient soundscapes, IDM, and other experimental electronic genres. 

Since 2017, he has been shaping the regional techno scene in Mannheim and its surroundings. Co-hosting a visionary event series at Disco Zwei, he has been instrumental in bringing well-respected bookings to the forefront.

In recent years, his focus has expanded to crafting stripped-down yet minimalistic techno tools. Alongside numerous self-releases, remixes, and various artist appearances on labels like Schimmer Records, Duplicity, and SOPTIK, he has earned recognition with releases on well-respected platforms such as Canticle, SYXT, PRX Records, and Adapter. Taking the next ambitious step, he and his collective mates decided to launch their own label in June 2022. Confusion's music has garnered support from established artists including DVS1, Luke Slater, Setaoc Mass, Rødhåd, Rene Wise, Philippa Pacho, Marrøn, Blue Hour, and Lea Occhi, to name a few. These tracks have found their way into the sets of these artists at renowned venues like Berghain, KHIDI, Bassiani, and Radion.

Born in Ukraine and raised in the Netherlands, Illiya is an artist heavily inspired by the quintessential sound that characterized techno in the early to mid-2000s. Illiya’s productions present driving, mechanical, and saturated grooves within the framework of modern techno. 

The juxtaposition between the past and present is evident in his workflow. He uses classic hardware such as Roland’s 303 and Mackie mixers to carve his unique sound, often recognizable by warm, analog-laced drums and textured atmospheres. Illiya continues to innovate as an artist, bringing a fresh, immersive depth to his productions and DJ sets.

Expect a journey exploring the darker edges of techno.

Kaivanto sinks deep into a loop-driven yet atmospheric groove. A jammy bassline dances with the core loop, while minimalist hi-hats keep the pulse light but steady. The track holds a subtle momentum—groovy, but never flashy. After the drop, the mood turns haunting: like rusted chains on an abandoned playground swing, creaking gently in the glow of distant fire near a forgotten nuclear facility.
