This is the first Promo upload for my Halloween gig, its a dark ambient journey with dungeon atmospherics and spacey overtones :-)It was made using 4 bits of gear and some hardware FX notably my signature trio of Korg Volca Keys, Korg DS10, Yamaha CS01 and Concept Devices box of tricks :-)

This is the second Promo track for my Halloween gig on 31st Oct 2015 in Kent UK. This was again recorded on to stereo and played live using 3 pieces of gear and some FX, these were Korg Volca Keys, Korg DS10 lite (Nintendo) and my Concept Devices box. 20 minutes long of mainly dark ambient with some scary bits LOL :-)


Halloween Promo 2

This was originally made for the Halloween mix tape that is being released in conjunction with the Halloween gig on 31st Oct 2015 in Kent I submitted two tracks but there was only enough room for one of them so this has now been made public as a promo :-)


Halloween Promo 3 Spirit Walker

This is a 10 minute live stereo recording of a jam on my Korg Volca Keys, no other sound generating devices was used, this is just the Volca keys going into a Boss DD20 delay pedal and Boss ME50B bass multi FX pedal. Nothing is overdubbed and all sounds are being created live on the fly. I would call it Ambient Doom as it gets very heavy on the bass frequencies but has some space between those and the higher range sounds giving it an all round wide feel. If you have a spare ten mins I hope you can give it a listen and hear what this cheap little analogue synth can get up to when your not looking LOL :-)

This is a short clip from the tester session we had at The Lea hall Pavilion to test out our PA, lights, recording facilities and hall usage prior to us commencing on with Awakenings concerts at this venue. Those involved were myself, Jez Creek and Phil Booth making the music, with lighting by Adrian Hendy and Sian Daffern and MC Dave Buxton.

This started life as an hour long recorded improv session recorded on my Boss BR800, using my Korg R3 and a wonderful stand alone VST called FM8, the arpeggiator on it is a very nice arp, its just so usable and with its random feature allows some great live variations. After trimming the start and end its ended up at just under 30 minutes. I used this 30 minutes as a base to add some layers too, this is the final result. Analoguekid.

Concept Devices is my project which is basically making live improvised sound using small amounts of electronic equipment and processing the sound through FX pedals and a looper. The sound that is made can be considered as Spacey Ambient with noise and Sci-Fi FX.
