Francisco Barahona aka Fresko is a fresh artist talent from Portugal, who returns after his recent DEAD CERT. EP and releasing his debut album on HAYES, ran by a collective including Temudo, Nørbak and VIL amongst others. "Hypochondria" is a wild and abstract take on techno that's full of creativity and character using its obscure elements to deliver a unique piece of sound design.

We love bringing fresh talent to our roster and here is Narrow Peak releasing his first ever EP, right on ELBEREC. In an all-portuguese release, this producer from Vizela shows off an understanding of the different faces and shapes that Techno can display.
While all tracks present themselves with “in your face” sharpness and punch, you’ll be testifying the trippier, rougher synthwork of “Clinch” and “Jawbreaker” - pushing you to the edge with their fierce sound design -, and navigating off-kilter, almost dubstep infused territories on “Combo” and “Pressured”. Last but not least, the industrial tone and discombobulated kick drums on “Maul” can set alight even the most stubborn of dance floors - hysteria assured!

On the remix side, another label debut with Quizak morphing Jawbreaker into a less spiky proposal, definitely winking at freer dance exercises, while Ghilix turns “Clinch” into a hypnotic driver, opposite of Rita Maomenos’ take which reinterprets it with non-linear rhythm all around.

As always, we’re proud of this one.

For his second EP on .inphase, Trismus brings his musical exploration offshore and comes back with 4 tracks finely intertwining heavy broken rhythmics, syncopated synths and granular soundscapes.

Like a sonar analyzing the depths of the sea, this EP « At Seas » is a call for the listener’s senses, letting him perceive both the songs of unknown creatures as well as strange structures and forms on approach. 

The EP is supplemented by a remix from JLTZ, holding  corrosive textures, and an other by SNTDRD developing a more dancing energy.

[BIO]:
w_iro is a techno music producer from Poznań, Poland. He started his adventure with music from guitar instruments, playing in bands and jam sessions, but fate made the next step in his journey the world of analog-digital sound synthesis. 
Currently he is a co-creator of Psylocybina project which promotes psychedelic, deep and mystic shades of techno music (https://soundcloud.com/psylocybinapl) and Rave Order (https://www.instagram.com/raveorder/), an initiative bringing together techno/rave culture in Poland. 
His hobbies include technological innovations in the process of creating music and the very philosophy of the creative process in the modern world. He supports the idea of live acts and hybrid sets. To his credit, he has performed in Poznań clubs, Wrocław's Ciało club and at Underworld and Masow festivals, among others. Javier Gantz, a techno DJ and producer based in Madrid, has transcended the barriers of electronic music since he ventured behind the decks in 2016. His devotion to merging the sounds that have always captivated him has forged a distinctive and passionate career in the Madrid underground scene.

His journey began at Aback (Stardust Madrid), where he served as a resident for a year. Over time, he has expanded his musical presence, taking his sessions to various clubs in the city, such as Pirandello, Stella, DVST, Siroco, LASOCIACIØN, or Utopia Club, where he continues as a resident, as well as playing an active role as a promoter.

Influenced by classic masters such as Regis and James Ruskin, as well as contemporary visionaries like Reeko and Blawan, Javier Gantz's sets are experiences loaded with enveloping textures, powerful basslines, hypnotic synthesizers, and bold experimental productions. Each session tells a sonic story that transports you to an atmosphere where intensity grows progressively.

Since 2021, he has also become interested in production, having already released on renowned labels such as Illegal Alien, Selected Records, and Utopia Society, a label of wich he is a co-owner.

Set recorded in May, 2022, with music acquired that month.
