For the 53rd edition of our Deep category, we present an underground act born in Greece but currently states in Italy under the name ARiS. Aris was born in Greece and saw electronic music in the 90s breaking. He moved to Central Italy and seamlessly into the house and techno scene. ARiS shows what it means to have a true love for the art of mixing records, doesn’t matter the format but the good selection. Aris established himself with residencies at clubs like Oniremac, Plush, Club Gallery, Caffe Concerto, 300 Monkeys, and Much More Club. You could have caught him over the past 15 years at various clubs across Italy and the Greek Islands. Lately, he’s been focusing on providing a groove for the private after-parties in central Italy.

Micaela Elliot Ravettino (MER) Arquitecta y Dj, actualmente forma parte del colectivo Bulbo y es co-fundadora de Space Invaders, en Lima, Perú.
 
Siempre tuvo esa atracción por la música electrónica. Los géneros que más la representan son el dark y deep minimal, minimal techno, y ligerezas de micro.
 
Su estilo se caracteriza por estructuras largas y texturas abstractas que elevan su mezcla con fuertes descargas de ritmos tribales, creando música a partir de estos sonidos.

Estilo oscuro sin perder el groove creando una atmósfera constante con una línea de bajos repetitivos, en la cual relucen sus transiciones sutiles al mezclar.

The set was recorded at Culture Box in Copenhagen and consists of minimal grooves, dub, and breaks, featuring tracks from Techu, KiRiK, Silat Beksi, mtps, Djosh, and many more. 

Born in '93 and raised in Romania, Geroge discovered his passion for underground music in 2012 after attending numerous events in Bucharest and a couple of festivals in Romania. Inspired by artists like Ion Ludwig, Petre Inspirescu, Priku, Takashi Himeoka, Barac, Herodot, and Afriqua, he started playing music in 2018, improving with every set while creating interesting and diverse vibes. 

Geroge likes to engage his audience with sets that have a storytelling nature, strong and groovy basslines, crispy claps, and intricate background sounds that control the mood he wants to create. He is interested in finding the groove with his music and mainly works with Minimal Techno, Micro House, Acid House, and Breakbeat. 

Apart from his sets for events or different label podcasts, he enjoys setting up a specific mood while playing music and, for this reason, is continually developing his podcast series like GRV (Groove Series), TRP (Trip Series), and soon-to-appear DRK (Dark Series). 

He has played music at underground events in Romania and at one of the editions of the Pe Coclauri festivals. Since moving to Denmark in 2020, he has hosted multiple private events and been invited to play music in Copenhagen, with his sets available to listen to on his SoundCloud profile. 

At the end of 2020, he created the group "Minimal Denmark" to spread his love for the music he enjoys and developed the project "MDKrom," which focuses on organizing events in different locations in Copenhagen, Denmark. Hit play and enjoy the journey!

Born in Romania in the late 80’s, Plusculaar got in touch with the local club scene at a very young age due to his brother’s sake and he suddenly fell in love for that new dreamy world. That was a crucial moment of his life, knowing that music would have been an essential part of his life. Since then, his interests have been 100% focused on music and he rapidly learned first how to djing and then how to produce his own tracks. Moving at the age of 18 to Amsterdam, he started playing both there and on his native Romania, counting more than 100+ venues in his home-country.
His superlative skills behind the decks merged with the constantly growing experience and his finest music selection led him to play in United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, France, Lebanon, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Holland, and all over Romania, both in clubs, big festival and exclusive intimate private parties.
This whismical journey continued during the years, and in 2014 Plusculaar took one of the biggest step of his career, starting his label called ‘Binaural Arts’ – a place to spread his love for music and idea of sound – which releases music both on vinyl and digital from renowned artists and newcomers and of course his own productions.
Meticulous and mindful of every detail, he saw his tracks being released on famous labels such as iO Mulen’s fabulous label, “Pleasure Zone” , “Zbroy” , “WE or US” , “Habitat” ,  “Archipel Recordings”, “Conceptual Records”, “Tzinah”, “Hashplant”, “Crocus”, “Inwave” and “Metroline LTD” to name a few, always providing serious micro house bouncy beats combined his unmistakble groovy hypnotic touch.
