Delirio presents "Time Is Over", a two-track EP composed by Italian artist Simone Scardino aka CONCEPTUAL. Yet again Simone proves that he has developed his own sound: Discretion, energy and mysticism transport us into his three-dimensional world, fusing body and soul with the mental and introspective side of techno. The EP will be available on 10inch transparent vinyl as well as digitally, scheduled for release on the 15th September 2022.

Release starts with Approach slowly a brief atmospheric intro that sets the pace for what comes next in Il silenzio degli innocenti introducing the rhythmic pulse from the first bar with almost all elements into he equation, this is a minimalistic tool where percussive elements evolve in a subtle manner all over the arrangement. No more excuses continues in the mood, adding more spice to the formula with reverberated details, growing mental sequences and the usual complex groove. Intense and mental all in one. Sand fury follows, with atmospheres colliding with rugged components, evolving all together in a progressive arrangement, a superb tool to enhance your mixes properly. Miles per hour introduces you into another sonic realm, using elastic synth lines, a wise reverb work and a sensation of infinite space combined with floor intensity. Again a proper intelligent missile for the adequate dancefloors out there. Simone Scardino is one of those few creators that always pushes his sound one step further and we are super proud to have him onboard again.

PREMIERE: CONCEPTUAL - Thousand miles per hour [PG76]

Simone Scardino is 50% of Beat Movement and from now on, she also works as a solo artist as CONCEPTUAL, a new project with a very personal musical vision, specially directed to techno and, which inaugurates in a masterly way with a first album in Warm Up, the acclaimed label of the Madrid-born Oscar Mulero. 

Null Respekt offers diversity within a futuristic environment. Red Sun is the track that opens the album, which from the very first moment places you in a dystopian context where the solidity of its base fights against the dissonant harmony of its strange melody. Basilisk and Nocturnal are tracks with a very different sound but, their qualities are quite similar, either because of their dynamism or because of the tonal range of the elements that accompany the bass drum and the bass line, which somehow seem to cushion their forcefulness. Blue Spirit is both hypnotic and annihilating, its intensity is extreme and possibly harmful to weak minds. With Upside Down, Simone moves to another galaxy, continues with a repetitive line but already with another more alien character. 

Healing Dance is the sixth track of Null Respekt, another world to explore, and never better, as its main element can simulate some kind of ancient ritual. More Wants More mixes a new strident rhythm with a powerful punch. Paradise of Poets and Tasmanian Devil are the album's most industrial tracks. On this occasion the rhythmic beat is placed in a lower frequency range, although as in most tracks it incorporates rather high rhythmic elements, as the main sign of identity of the Italian producer. Null Respekt closes the release with a slower but equally intense cadence.

PREMIERE: CONCEPTUAL - Basilisk

Here you have the new sound voyage in @oscarmulero's Warm Up Recordings digital branch. Again showcasing long-distance travel in the form of an album. It is really inspiring to find that there are young producers out there like that are pushing the boundaries and trying to sound futuristic and original in this mediocre Instagram days. This is the case of Conceptual, half of the Berlin-based duo Beat Movement. 

He offers ten diverse approaches to sci-fi techno, ranging from the cinematic Red Sun and Null Respekt to the dynamic and floor-oriented numbers like Basilisk, Nocturnal or Blue Spirit. To the twisted and abstract Upside Down, Healing Dance or More wants more ...or the tribal and shuffled exercises like Paradise of Poets and Tasmanian Devil. 

As we said, original, risky, futuristic, and carefully done by a young producer that will have for sure a lot more to showcase in the coming years.

We're thrilled to premiere the 3rd track from the brand new 10 track album from Berlin based producer, CONCEPTUAL.

CONCEPTUAL offers ten diverse approaches to sci-fi techno, ranging from the cinematic Red Sun and Null Respect to the dynamic and floor oriented numbers like Basilisk, Nocturnal, or Blue Spirit, to the twisted and abstract Upside Down, Healing Dance or More Wants More, or the tribal and shuffled exercises like Paradise of Poets and Tasmanian Devil.

The track we selected for the premiere is Nocturnal, a dance floor ready and experimental groover, that's relentless, trippy and hypnotic all at the same time.

Simone Scardino has created a musical style and vision that truly is his own, sharing it with the world with his new solo project CONCEPTUAL.

Techno is body music. It’s all about this special feeling that you have when your mind disconnects and your body just follows the music, the feeling of freedom when you dance. Simone’s vision of techno unceasingly characterizes his unique productions as well as his DJ sets. Colorful and energetic techno, a powerful explosion of craziness and happiness at the same time. Three-dimensional spatial sounds combined with gentle but determined drum grooves create a mystical and whirling result and a killer stereo experience!

Last year Simone founded the Berlin based art and music collective Friendship Collective. Through his devotion to techno and visual and performance arts the idea for CONCEPTUAL was born. His performances will often be characterized by collaborations with visual artists and performers, creating a special techno experience for the people that come to see him play. 

Simone’s progressive approach to producing and DJing as well as his collaborations with artists in and outside music reflects his artistic vision and goals as much as his spirited personality, and, in its essence, embodies what CONCEPTUAL represents. Plans for the year hold upcoming releases as well preparing playing live, continuously exploring the world of electronic music with his fans.
