When you first hear the word Paradigm, you might ask yourself, "what is that?".
A paradigm is a system of beliefs, ideas, values, and habits that is a way of thinking about the
real world. A lot of people grow up with a specific paradigm, but never break it as they age...
They become comfortable with what they know. Settling for whatever is handed to them, atleast what they THINK has been handed to them. What's actually happening is, the universe is just providing them what they've asked for. The energy and vibrations that they're subconciously emmitting are those of content, so that's what is brought upon them...
You know how when you're about to leap into the unknown, wether it be a new job, or thinking about proposing or simply preparing to ask for a raise at work, and you get that uneasy feeling? That uncomfortable feeling? Naturally, we're trained to want to drop back into an area that's more familiar, more comfortable, so typically, you don't look for a new job or you don't pop the question, and they get away... or you just don't ask for that raise...
That's all because you hit the terror barrier, and bounce back into where you know it's safe.
Fuck that. 
Lately, I've been so uncomfortable with everything, that it's not even funny anymore. 
I can't even drop back to my comfort zones to try to regain stability. That's what I'm taking as a sign. A sign to do this shit forreal. I know it sounds far fetched. I know it sounds impossible, but I believe in myself. I KNOW I can do it.
So I've been shifting my paradigms. 
It's been burned into my mind, day in and day out, that I'm going to achieve all of my goals. I'm not listening to nay-say, I'm not taking advice from people who can't even look at themselves in the mirror. I'm done. This is my life, and I've decided that I'm going to live it HOW I WANT TO LIVE IT. Period. 
And in my music, you're starting to hear it too. 

Prior to me feeling uncomfortable, I was making music based on what the people in my hometown were saying. Based on what my friends were suggesting. "Don't do this, do this instead." "Stop doing this in your songs". Nah. Fuck that. 
Music has no structure. Music has no boundaries. I've learned that. It's a career choice, but a passion first. I make my music as a way of self expression. It's fun, it's theraputic. I get to conjure up mini movies with every song. A new frame with every line. That's the beauty behind it. 
So I've also shifted my paradigms with that. 

We get one life...
No do overs...
No take backs....
Why the fuck are y'all so content with wasting it.
Half of you don't even want to try...
I know it's scary, and risky...
But without risks, there are no rewards.
