Come Back To Me Love is an original song written by Jesse Teinaki and Produced by Liam Quinn.

Last year I was sitting at my home in Sydney where I lived with my cousin. We both slumped on the couch, lost, as we had just been told that my aunt (his mother) had pancreatic cancer. With our family being so close and holding such a strong connection between us all, this hit hard for everybody. With a very low percentage of beating this type of cancer, it was no second thought for my cousin to move back home to Tasmania, to be with his mother.
Hours went by and as my cousin left to distract himself, I sat at my piano and couldn't help but feel so sorry for him. I remember thinking f**k, imagine how he'd feel; imagine if you found that out about your mother; f**k, imagine if it was my mother; f**k, imagine if something bad happened to my mother; and so on and so forth until I spiralled into a negative abyss. As a result, Come Back To Me Love was born, but I was never going to release the song or do anything with it.
Fast forward to about a month ago to the passing of my beloved pop (RIP Poppy Nook). In this dark time I showed a lot of family members the song and all their comments and thoughts got me thinking. I thought how impactful and meaningful the song had become to them, giving them an outlet in this dark time and how this could be shared by so many more. I thought what I would do, as a dedication, is release Come Back To Me Love. I was going to dedicate this to anyone who had lost someone, or has someone sick in their life and want back to full health, or someone they sorely miss.
After painful and seemingly endless rounds of chemo, a few weeks ago, my aunt found out that surgery wasn't an option and they couldn't remove the tumour. This news came with tragic thoughts and an unthinkable path to have to take. With her light ever so dimmed she persisted, flying to Sydney for a second opinion and hanging onto all hope that remained. We thank the stars that she did as we recently learnt that the Doctors in Sydney can perform surgery and so hope remains intact. Although we have newfound hope, the reality is that undertaking the surgery and everything else involved is costly.
I believe everything happens for a reason and everything has a purpose. The song I wrote after finding out about her having cancer, being the same song that I decided I was going to release only weeks ago, is too much of a coincidence.
In conclusion I dedicate this song to my beautiful aunty, Jacqui Clear - I have recently donated every single cent made from purchases to her and her cause. It may not be much, but I hope its enough to ease an unneeded stress so that she can push through and fight this horrific battle. I still believe and I still have hope.
