Maximal Verwirrt aka Jay is a young up-and-coming producer and DJ from Munich. His passion for dance and music was consolidated by eight years of ballet dancing at the Heinz Bosel Foundation and several performances at the Nationaltheater. In 2019, he got in touch with techno for the first time on an outdoor rave and falls in love with the ambience, which is why he starts playing at his first outdoor raves in 2020. During the second Corona lockdown, he begins to produce himself, which turns out to be his great passion.

Parisian techno connoisseur, Lowel is a frequent presence in the rave-inspired nightlife.

Over the years, he has shared a myriad of single tracks and EP, as well as bending himself to explore even more under a shared alias “New Rave Order”.

The artist confesses he is well versed in the industrial, melodic and acid styles, never not looking for brutal energy.

“Down To The Ground” evokes melancholy with its synth progression that quickly gets dissipated with the obliterating kickdrum and piercing groove attained with his surgical use of percussive elements.

Concrete – Our Story

Concrete was founded in 2018 with a podcast series, inspired by the techno culture of the 90s in Berlin. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down clubs in 2020 and made it impossible to celebrate in familiar spaces, the team made a pivotal decision: they organized illegal raves at off-locations – events that often ended with a heavy police presence and helicopter deployments.

But they were not discouraged. On the contrary, they evolved. From underground events to major club nights in Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam. Supported by an outstanding team of lighting and sound technicians, they managed to transform off-locations into warehouse-style spaces and professionally equip the legendary E-Werk in Berlin, as well as numerous festivals. During this time, they shaped the scene with unique energy and vision.

Concrete’s greatest dream was to build their own float for the Loveparade. And in 2023 – after years of hard work and determination – that dream finally became a reality.

With changes in the team and new priorities, Concrete will focus entirely on music releases in the coming years, continuing to enrich the dance music culture.
