Here we are. For this third compilation, we decided taking our label to a next level of implication in the techno industry. Fast and energetic. Those would be the two words to describe this Various Artists as much as our project.
Created around mid-2020, INTROSPECTIVE's goal is and will always be to promote new artists with talent, but also to make you dance until countless hours on the dancefloor. Fast and groovy tracks as well as dark and industrial ones are on the menu. We want to make darkness and light co-exist, explaining this VA's cover made by one of the label's owners, HTRB. Agressive darkness mixed with bright light, reminding us what freedom and love is out in the nightclubs we miss so much.

Concrete – Our Story

Concrete was founded in 2018 with a podcast series, inspired by the techno culture of the 90s in Berlin. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down clubs in 2020 and made it impossible to celebrate in familiar spaces, the team made a pivotal decision: they organized illegal raves at off-locations – events that often ended with a heavy police presence and helicopter deployments.

But they were not discouraged. On the contrary, they evolved. From underground events to major club nights in Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam. Supported by an outstanding team of lighting and sound technicians, they managed to transform off-locations into warehouse-style spaces and professionally equip the legendary E-Werk in Berlin, as well as numerous festivals. During this time, they shaped the scene with unique energy and vision.

Concrete’s greatest dream was to build their own float for the Loveparade. And in 2023 – after years of hard work and determination – that dream finally became a reality.

With changes in the team and new priorities, Concrete will focus entirely on music releases in the coming years, continuing to enrich the dance music culture.
