A track about having to drive home after a gig. Which is something I have to do a lot seeing as no-one else in my band bloody drives. I nurse my one beer whilst everyone else is getting wasted in some super trendy bar that should never be seen through the eyes of a sober person. It makes me laugh.

Some new were born and some moved on whilst others joined the fray

These ripples keep rolling

See the light we made.

Beautiful chaos that can't be contained
Slips into the way-off, but the echo remains
I've been surviving on pure gas and air
Chasing tents in the wind on a wing and a prayer

A field full of energy, a force for the light
Shining a beacon in the warm dark of night
Knowing we know nothing, but still that we're right
A star can't last long when it's shining so bright
Unrelenting, defiant, but still not prepared
Exploding in silence catching all unawares
The supernova is over and we're left on the wave,
Riding I don't know where but going there anyway,

Supernova

Various Improvisations

Bristol based electronica trio Concrete Disco, led by multi-instrumentalist and chief songwriter Jonny Wharton, aka Jonny Falls Over, alongside brothers Joe (keys/laptop) and Dom Cusack (drums/samplers), bring the raw energy of a live band to electronic music.

The band's music weaves between punchy electronic indie-pop for the end times, raucous mashups, and breakbeat-driven workouts. At turns their music draws from the driving synths and drums of Moderat, the swagger of Soulwax, and the claustrophobic atmospheres of latter-day Radiohead.

As a formidable live act Concrete Disco have built up a dedicated following, most recently supporting The Orb on tour. The band are experienced performers and a surefire hit with a festival crowd, offering a potent blend of hard-hitting beats, socially conscious lyrics, and party-starting mashups. They have taken their high-octane show to Glastonbury Festival, Secret Garden Party, The Borderline and The Roundhouse, also supporting Deadmau5, Modestep, Plump DJs, Beardyman and others along the way. After a string of releases throughout 2023 and 2024, the band are set to release a new album in 2025 as they continue to tread new ground.
