Liking Spree

Before things changed, I had fallen back in love with vinyl collecting again. I had moved to London and ventured to record shops around the capital digging for old school classics, rare tunes and anything handy to help me get creative.

This one is ‘Bargain Bin Belter’ and it is a tribute to that hidden gem found at the bottom of the pile, the underrated B-Side or that tune back in the day you never knew the name of but finally discovered.

Last time we heard from Bristol producer Conducta was around the release of "City Breeze"—a floaty R&B-meets-garage jam from August last year. This time, on new single "Felt This Way", he's teamed up with fellow Bristolian Notion for another bass-heavy affair. "Felt This Way" still features some silky R&B vocals, but the star of the show is that molten lava bassline! It's no wonder both producers have been getting so much attention lately. With basslines like this and a learned appreciation for R&B vocals, these two will definitely be making some big moves this year. Watch this space.
