actually this memory inspired me to want to write a book about Appalachian music and how it was , and is, passed along for generations and every age from porch to porch , and clothesline to clothesline. I remain hopeful that I can get this book in print by next summer ! 
This song is very humble, as my granny was. She had a big impact on me , about how much a woman can accomplish on her own and how much we all can endure if we have faith and trust , in whatever you believe God to be and however that may speak to you personally . I do believe !
Huge thanks to Ginny McJunkin who took me out of 'stuck' mode with this song and sent me a melody ! I just was having a really rough time with that , and , she is truly a gifted singer-songwriter who sent me a melody pretty much over night ! Thank you Ginny! I am hoping she will download this and sing the chorus with me ! Check her out here on SC.
