Influenced by 00s techno/house in Hamburg, a dubstep/drum’n’bass driven sub-culture in Edinburgh and a glitch/trap/deep-house coloured festival scene in California, his musical journeys show appreciation for various genres - with more recent inspiration coming from the beautifully evoluting downtempo techno and keta-pop scene across Germany. For his CNXA cast, Nehbel embarks on these past impressions and weaves in some musical elements and colours from all over the world, expressing his interpretation of the CNXA spirit.”

This compilation is a homage to the comet Coggia, which was sighted for the first time in 1874. The comet was so bright that it was possible to observe it with the naked eye and was named the Great Comet of 1874. The idea was to capture and decode its general existence, its journey and transience through music. Thanks to all the artists who made this possible.
