After a little summer break it is about time to reanimate our podcast series and serve you again with some cozy music for your home comforts. With slowly getting into winter mood we’re happy to share with you the perfect soundtrack for snuggling into the most comfy spot on the couch, made by no other than our all-time inspirer Matti aka @mattmosphere, master of chill mixtapes and connaisseur of the unconventional. He presents us an eclectic and soul soothing selection of tunes somewhere between Ambient, Balearic and Vaporwave. Calming genres that combine gentle instrumentation here and there with bird chirping, water dribble, wind noises and fire crackling - music made by lush nature that carries us back to the sunny days. Arising from some beautifully nostalgic reconnections you indeed feel his dedication to the abundance of a lush island, as Matti mentioned the „Schlaraffenland“, the land of milk an honey, a place that allows you to sit back, relax and float. We gladly follow that recommendation and invite you to celebrate slowliness and ease with us on this first day of December, which is also the day Matti was born! Welcome back, dear listener. It's a pleasure to have you here. 

So, wheels are in motion and guess what? We got multicultural top selecta Lotte Ahoi to start the year off right. 

With her recording from Plan:et C - Beta 2021, she gently leads our imagination to a soothing garden of colorful music, where every flower represents a track carefully planted and nourished. As you wander and smell the fresh air, you feel that you can call this your home and come back anytime you want.

When listening to this experienced digger, you notice a potpourri from so many directions, yet, what has always remained constant in her mixes is the rather relaxed rhythm and lots of melody she swings. For years we keep falling in love with her mixes, as we align with her philosophy that musical boundaries only exist in our heads.

In order to understand what moves her and her listeners, one has to imagine the nature of a sloth – a sloth that loves music but hates stress, instead choosing to hang on a tree, watching the flowers grow and waiting for the sun to shine in her ears.

Lotte, we thank you for your never-ending search for diamonds in the rough, slowly weaving them together in a slowmomoving and sneakily surprising wave of Funkumbiafrorientropical Slothdisco (yeah, that's right). 

Shout out to @urbancosmonautradio, a distinguished label and mix series that she runs with Burntale, which keeps being an inspiration for Tepeme.

"Jo Que?" feat. Wide Awake - A Visit to the Crystal Museum

Some members from @Love-Foundation and @HugRecords are living together in the Sierra Estrella Mountain Range in Portugal, where we are rebuilding an old abandoned village, called Foz da Cova.

We have a little music studio here and sometimes we have befriended musicians coming by for a visit.

Sometimes these friends play music for us and sometimes we press the record button when they do so. 

This is the first of those times.

Our first Pod da Cova comes from @dorianfecht who spend November and December with us in the mountains. Dorian normally lives in Dresden, where he is part of Love Foundation and @Zirkulation. He will take you on a journey to this long forgotten place and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Lyrics:
Hills. Trees. Farms. Cottages. Landscapes from dreams. Breathtaking dreams. Idyllic life in harmony with nature in whose bosom it flourished. It would take your breath away. East of Arganil in Portugal, Foz da Cova is its name. And that is where the fires came in 2017. The fires roared. People fled. There wasn't time to save much. In a span of days and weeks, there remained only memories of how life once was there. An almost arid landscape bears witness to the destruction. From this desolation and this devastation and this tragedy an energy breathed itself into a group of people who dared to imagine bringing the magic and the poetry of these lands back, to imagine life finding its way back here with a little help. A heterotopia. This is where I came, this is where I am, this is what I saw, this is what I felt. Sublimating boundaries. Erasing borders. Entwining narratives. Myth becoming real, reality becoming myth. There is beauty here. There is adventure here. And, there is hope. Immerse yourself in these landscapes, live for a moment with these people, dream a little for yourself and for them and for the world. A story whose beginning we know. A story being told. A story being lived. A story which is still coming into being. Foz da Cova is its name.
