In this edition we introduce some fresh releases from latin american house labels. the sound travels from a couple of slow jungle tunes from Brazil to some nomadic impressions from Mexico and ends in little Italy, which obviously is not latino but maybe somewhat associated. hope you enjoy our selection.

Writing this while reflecting on the beginning of this year. As I’m starting a new cycle, I’m scared and excited. Letting go feels good though, especially because it gave me a reason to hug those dear to my heart once more. 

Music is even more present now and is the cushion I lay on to keep me grounded. This set is a transitional one, a marker in time that will make me look back at this period happily, hope you’ll like it!

Comfort in the midst of Change

Born in Chile, Manu Ela is a multi-faceted artist based now in Berlin. Handling the brush as an illustrator as well as the needle as a tattoo artist, she also sings in an acoustic show with her ukulele and her pan flute and produces music in a self-taught way. Inspired always by the nature, she has found an own original style in the slow electronic music, collaborating nowadays with friends and artists such as Monkyman, Leeu, Dan Bay, Rodrigo Gallardo, Barda, Carla Valenti, Omeria and much more. Her lyrics are always in order to heal herself and as a consecuence of this magic process spread it to the the world.
