As the last weekend of Summer 2022 draws to a close I wanted to play out the weekend with a mix of beautifully warm and Balearic sounding sunkissed tunes.   

In the mix there are laid back grooves by Chicane with the stunning 'Offshore' ambient mix that starts the mix. There's also lovely music by Gorgon City, Poolside and Session Victim with a wonderfully crafted remix of Funkstar De Luxe's 'Sun Is Shining'.

If you love the vibe of Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza then this is the mix for you.

The mix is a perfect accompanyament to chill in the sun to whether you are Poolside, drinking some fine Cocktails, at a BBQ, or taking it easy or on the Beach; get sun-kissed once again to this fine selection of Balearic inspired music.

This year marks the start of a new spin-off with the second solo release by Steven 'Sugar' Harding, who is known for being the producer and creative mastermind behind the Milk & Sugar sound. His new production „You Know What It’s Like“, that he produced alongside tech house don Tobias Kraemer, is a peak-time house floor smash that will delight even the most demanding of listeners. A mix between a captivating voice, a massive bassline and jacking synths.  

As one half of Milk & Sugar, Steven 'Sugar' Harding led the charge of vocal house from Germany more than two decades ago and became deeply influential on the house music scene ever since.

The dynamic duo of Tom & Collins and Mr. Pig have once again joined forces as they make their Toolroom Trax debut with ‘Esta Pegao’. What makes this collaboration even more exciting is the fact that they have sampled a Mexican anthem from the popular group Proyecto Uno, that not only pays homage to the original track but also brings ‘Esta Pegao’ to a new generation of dancefloors.

Twolate return to Toolroom Trax with their latest offering ‘Balcon’, a collaboration with fellow Italian producer NIINE. The duo Twolate have soundtracked the label in recent years with dancefloor anthems ‘Baila’, ‘Que Lo Que’ and ‘Pala Pala’ that have seen mass success in and outside the clubs from household heavyweights such as HUGEL, Dom Dolla, MK, Tiesto and Roger Sanchez.

Both Twolate and NIINE can seamlessly blend tribal rhythms and Latin influences which has fast become their trademark sound which has solidified their place as rising stars in the genre.

House heavyweights GUZ & Thomas Newson join forces on Toolroom Trax to deliver their latest club-ready anthem, ‘The Middle’. Sebo K returns to Phil Weeks’ Robsoul Recordings later this week (Friday 28th October) with his ‘Magie Noire’ three-tracker. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of ‘Honeybee’ from it above.

The last 12 months has seen a blossoming relationship between the Berlin based producer and Weeks’ Parisian label. Having started with his impressive ‘Catalyst’ EP at the tail end of 2015, Sebo then delivered more heat at the controls of the Robsoul Edits collection at the turn of the year (see his ‘Player’s Theme’ edit if you missed out).

All three-tracks on ‘Magie Noire’ stand up to the quality of Sebo’s Robsoul output, but we cherry-picked ‘Honeybee’ for its glorious rhythm and disco vocal which are both laid over solid kicks. The resultant cut has funk to spare and has been tearing up the White Isle’s dancefloors ahead of its release this summer.
