Hot on the heels of his highly successful debut for Guru earlier this year, rising French producer Damien N-Drix is back on Gregrori Klosman’s imprint with another stonker. Whereas “Do It” was a wonderfully offbeat monster, his new track “Ghetto Funk” is a more driving, peak-time house cut that encapsulates the spirit and energy of throbbing dancefloors around the globe.

Built around the powerful trio of bulging bass, crunching synths and pummelling beats, “Ghetto Funk” surges forward with relentless momentum. At the midpoint of the tune, the prodigiously talented Marseille based producer flips things on its head by working in an insatiably unique groove which sways and squelches with a robotic funk, propelling us into his futuristic vision of the world. Ghetto inspired vocals add a confident attitude, confounding the sense of swagger that truly sets this track apart. There is simply no holding Guru Records back right now!!
