A couple years ago, Flume released a collection of samples in a pack titled "Flume Sounds".  Our latest release is a SC & YT exclusive, an idea that stemmed from one of those samples. The power of of Flume's reach brought together https://soundcloud.com/harrismadeit and https://soundcloud.com/nvr-me from opposite sides of the world. Both of these talented producers brought their unique sounds and mutual inspiration from that pack together, the result created a floating vibe that still manages to punch you in the face.

  Ukiyo is a Japanese term that originally expressed the Buddhist idea of the transitory nature of life. During the Edo period, the character meaning “to float” was substituted for the homonym meaning “transitory” to express an attitude of the joys of living. In its modern usage, the term ukiyo is used to refer to a state of mind emphasizing living in the moment, detached from the difficulties of life.~ the internet

After 11 Years of honing my skills and a plethora of releases, I am finally releasing my first album. 8 tracks crafted over the course of 2018, 2019, and 2020. This album was created with the overwhelming feeling of uncertainty, pain, sadness, and anxiety. The album was mixed and mastered during quarantine over the course of May and June 2020, while it seemed the world was collapsing in on itself, and the sound of this record directly reflects that. I hope that people find solace in this record, the way I have with expressing myself through music.
