This is the first release of Made in Riot on Conic and it sees the label open its account with an impressive EP. There's the abstract, jittery of "Amapola" for those who like it very, tech house take on "Amapola". However, it's the original dance floor focused material that really impresses; "Coode" moves from noisy, tweaked beats and rhythms into atmospheric, flowing chords, while "Kudu" uses a pulsing, electronic disco groove as the basis for similar melodic flourishes. Made in Riot strips things back to focus on a jacking, jittery tech house track. Enjoy

Legendary producer from the Label Conic Frankie Volo returns, together with the Italian DJ and producer Marco Rea, with his latest offering which is inspired by legend of Djs. This titled EP 'Hey DJ' includes three tracks, where where they make you travel in the underground world. This title track which revisits the classic sound of first wave techno, the deep and lo-slung acid express of 'Hey DJ' (which showcases signature sounds underground) where the underground version and less voice to give its bass accentor for to give more dark, instead 'Kiss' gives the track a dirty disco flavour assisted by some hands in the air vocals and sleazy arpeggios, then delivers a suitably lo-slung perspective that's rather sexy.
