Hello, I do not want to alarm anybody. Over the past couple of weeks, I have noticed something strange and unwelcome that has shaken me to my usually unshakable core. It has turned me into an outsider, a public enemy. Whispers. The meanest of mugs, and even children no longer look up to me. My instinct was to blame others, and in turn, I questioned my own sanity. I was convinced it was my coworker Edwin with the stench, or even the routine pedestrian was not free from a verbal and sometimes physical thrashing by my twisted backhand. Until I was stopped mid-slap with a question that put everything to rest: "What if I'm the one with the moldy stench?" Could it be? The boy with the golden curls like Buster Brown was the one? Sad but true. The source of the festering mold stench was none other than my trusty headphones...
