Tokyo-based producer Sachi Kobayashi composed "Imaginary Trip" as a travelogue: in her words, "[to] help listeners to imagine various aspects of Japan". Primarily recorded at her home studio, Kobayashi leisurely but exactingly dis- and re-assembles minute sounds; magnifying dust motes drifting by a sun-lit window. "Imaginary Trip" also highlights minimal (catchy) melodies (<40 BPM) and surgical sound design, making the album as much a hallucinatory inner journey as a terrestrial one - which the b-side highlights with alternate versions of each track: a dream within a dream.

"G-Slang" comme nom de la nouvelle sortie Demord Enregistrements pour deux faces, deux producteurs et une sérigraphie. 7 tracks avec qui fleurent bon le corner, le bitume et les grands ensembles urbains. 96 Scream et Colt pour un digital slang, retaping slang and slang tang pour cabosser en manif' et cabotiner sur les dancefloors.

96 Scream, aussi connu dans les groupes Violent Quand On Aime, Haydée ou encore Radiante Pourpre, officie dans le gang Simple Music Experience. C'est la première sortie vinyle de ce projet solo qui fait la part belle aux beats hip hop, qu'ils soient d'inspiration NYC 90's ou Memphis. Ces 4 titres piochent dans la culture samples et K7 du Prince Scream.

Colt, ami de longue date du label, a participé à la première compile "Bruine Persistante" (DMRD001). Les oreilles qui lorgnent sur les scènes 90's et 00's de Chicago ou B-more, il donne sa vision sèche et tendue de la ghetto bass. Une Boite à rythme, un sampleur et un mother 32 pour 3 titres sous speed enregistrés en conditions live, et mixé par Tioma Tchoulanov.

B3 - Colt - Bootyshaker

Pour le premier épisode de leur résidence “Sous-entendu”, @charlotteauxfretz invitent leur reuf @yolek. Co-fondateur du collectif La Sacrée Déter et actif depuis plusieurs années sur la scène suisse, Yolek mélange avec talent de nombreuses influences musicales, chatouillant bass music, trance, breaks, hip-hop et bien d’autres. 
C’est aussi à travers ses productions éclectiques qu’il nous met souvent des grosses claques, notamment sur les labels Lullabies for Insomniacs, Kump, Brainwaves, Feng Shit et tout récemment @caf_rec

Après avoir organisé de nombreux concerts à Marseille, le collectif et label Champ Döner s'attache désormais à la production de cassettes et a lancé sa première série de splits : deux artistes convoqué(e)s et invité(e)s à se remixer le temps d’un morceau. C'est aux côtés des duos Humbros et R.I.P, primo-invités de cette série, que Champ Döner officiera sa première fois à Ola Radio.

"While making this album I was inspired by the scientific themes and topics expressed by both 1970s magazine "Radical Software" and 1980s magazine "OMNI" for their influence on the video synthesis and broadcasting culture of our present day. Radical Software arrived in 1969 at a time of major social upheaval. The Viet Nam war was raging and the loss of Martin Luther King exacerbated feelings that a war on race war seemed inevitable. 

The Nixon presidency amplified feelings of dispare but compelled many to imagine alternatives to the soulless, murderous culture in they were existing in. The urge to create new cultural structures, developed revolutionary video hardware that would play a pivotal role in accelerating the social change people desired. Authors of the magazine understood that change would only occur by increasing the level of social pressure. 
Through their reading of Buckminster Fuller, Gregory Bateson and Marshall McLuhan, they realized what needed to be changed was not the machines, but the instructions used to operate them. The social implications proved radical hardware was fine but what was critically needed was "Radical Software". The magazine became a form of social activism. It would be a forum, a video craft how-to-magazine, a rudimentary marketing and distribution system for the burgeoning community, and a journal of philosophical speculation and political opinion for all who shared their vision. The cover of the album is created by CINEMA.AV using LZX video synthesizers."

Anderson Chimutu is a first generation Malawian American who resides in the city of South Bend, Indiana. Growing up near Chicago and Detroit, Chimutu was exposed to many legends of the regional music scene. This influenced him to get involved with various instrumental bands and djing. Now he focuses on solo productions, which integrate the use of granular sound processors and drum machines. This new approach, coupled with the desire to represent his African heritage, has given birth to Fumbata Phiri. His first offering as Fumbata Phiri came in the form of 2020's "Decoherence", released on the Hungarian label Exiles. He followed that up with "Equipoise", released on UK label Hard Return, "Actuation" on released on Eternal Search in 2021, and now in 2022, "Liminal Space" releasing on Chicago label, Reserve Matinee ran by Michael Stumpf (FAITHFUL) and John Daniel (Forest Management). The sonic qualities found within "Liminal Space" can be described as minimalist and obscure, yet very rhythmic. It's as if a machine has re-programmed itself, using onboard interface sounds, to make cryptic dance tracks. Chimutu wants to challenge the narrative surrounding African influenced music, and does so by creating what comes naturally to him. Putting forth an extension toward the future, while being cognizant of the history that has brought him to this point.
